Spawn camping is an issue in random online games, but supposedly Ubisoft is coming out with some sort of update to eliminate it. (perhaps a certain amout of time of invincibility when spawning)

It's a great game, doesn't feel like an expansion pack to me. I'd recommend it to anyone. If you happen to pick it up, make sure to let someone here know. We've been getting some great matches going online since it's release.
Exact opposite for me. I LOVED RS:3 but didn't like RS:BA at all.

RS:BA online caters too much to the twitch crowd with modes like Retrieval, which is a whole lot of running around and a whole lot of shooting. Oh, and a whole lot of spawn camping, too. Think Counter-Strike, and you'll have an idea of what I mean.

I also don't like the dependence on map knowledge for success. It's too much like online in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, where knowledge of the map was just as important as your spying ability. I don't have a ton of time to play games, so I can't take hours to play and study every nook and cranny of the maps.

I know I'm in the vast minority here, but RS:BA did nothing for me. An expansion pack at best, dumbed down for the twitch crowd, in my opinion.

    Take care,
