The explosives 100 mile kill radius, care package glitching, nuke farming, one man army, javalin glitching, model shotguns snipers totally destroyed that game for me. Also the M16 was rediculous.

I rather have Cod4 MW since that was more about gun play and less about OP killstreaks. Also imo it was balanced well.

I've grown tired of this twitch shooter. The last CoD I enjoyed playing was WaW. I've bought CoD every year and sold it no more than a month later because I get sick of the insane amount of annoyances that this game provides. This is the end of the road with this franchise for me.

Most of what you mention was eventually patched aside from One Man Army and the Nuke Boosting. Nuke Boosting was no more than an annoyance and was only an big issue in Free For All.

Call of Duty 4 had it's own share of balance issues both weapon and perk related. The MW2 M16 sucked compared to it's Call of Duty 4 counterpart. That thing was the god gun of CoD 4. It was a shotgun up close, your typical assault rifle from medium range and was a sniper rifle from long range. There were FAR worse guns in MW2 than the M16. ACR, Famas, SCAR H, and TAR 21 come to mind just from the assault rifles alone.

All I'm trying to say is the reason why the older Call of Duty games were the best was because they were fun to play despite their balance issues and flaws. World at War had some of the worst gun balance in Call of Duty history but it was super fun to play. The newer Call of Duty games lack the fun factor and addictiveness. Advance Warfare isn't a bad game, it's just boring. Just like Ghosts before it and Black Ops 2 to a certain extent.

WaW was my favorite CoD to be released but the juggernaut and mp40 was insanely unbalanced.

I enjoyed MW2, but yeah it had a ton of problems. But that's not so much a MW2 thing as it is a COD thing, the games have a ton of problems and always need constant patches.

Damn, if you were really that tired of it why would you keep buying it every year?

In BO3 the ground dash and slide will remain, the boost jump is out.

New Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 rumors surface that dive further into the game’s suggested exploration of themes like cybernetic implants and robotics. Call of Duty YouTuber TheLongSensation posted a fairly convincing video earlier today covering some of his own research into what he believes is leaked information on the setting of Black Ops 3. […]

Hoping it would be better than the year before maybe? I don't really know, I gave it more chances than I should have.

I loved Call Of Duty 3, Cod 4 Modern Warfare, COD World At War & Black Ops 1. I really hated Modern Warfare 2&3, Black Ops 2 & Advanced Warfare. I just prefer the more realistic settings not this made up futuristic garbage. Medal Of Honor back on the PS1 is what got me into shooters & which was heavly influenced by Saving Private Ryan. I Love the WW2 era wish it would return.

Honestly if they just came out with a Modern Warfare 2 remaster or re-make I would buy the heck out of that game. I loved all the maps in that game and I remember being obsessed with sniping.

                      Man those were the days...

Same, i hated sniping tho lol. But i'd definitely buy a mw2 remake, that was the first COD i ever played. Remember having a lot of fun with it.

I'm surprised Activision hasn't tasked one of their studio's to do a remastering of the Modern Warfare Trilogy. All these game franchises are seemingly getting remasters and arguably one of the most successful franchises of all time in Call of Duty hasn't gotten one yet.

Maybe they know that the older games are so great that if you remaster them no one will buy the new ones lol.

There was a Modern Warfare Collection in the works but unresolved legal reasons forced it to be scrapped. http://mp1st.com/2015/04/01/call-of-...legal-dispute/
