As much as I'm excited for this game, a return of South Park Rally would have been so amazing.

I'm interested to see if they are going to able to make this feel like a fresh game. I'm not so sure I'm excited about a new story on the same map with same combat that looks a little better.

Part of the fun and novelty of the first game was that it contained all of the characters and most of the best jokes from the show. This one won't really have that going for it.

At the same time, I don't think these guys would put out a game just to have another game.

Based on what's been said, sounds like this is one of those things that might change in this game. I think it fits into their "we learned how to make video games right at the end of it" category from The Stick of Truth.

We'll see though. I feel like they won't disappoint at all for the last reason you stated.

I actually just read the Stick of Truth thread on here. And it seems like the writers still a lot more written for the Stick of Truth that wasn't released. So they probably have still some great jokes that weren't already in the game. Also I don't know if the Coon episodes came out before the Stick of Truth game but the jokes from those episodes in the game.

I loved Stick of Truth and can't wait to play this one. Yes, as stated above, I remember reading they had so many ideas for the Stick of Truth that there was no way they could fit them all into one game.

Even if they didn't have any ideas left over i'm sure they'd have it figured out. Sounds like they may know more of what to do this go around and I don't think these are the guys to throw out a sequel just to throw it out there.
