Polished off my first playthrough of Stick of Truth last night. Gonna have to play at least once or twice more in my hunt for trophies as well as because I missed the chinpokomon in the UFO and in the fort during the final battles.

But, for now, it's on to Fractured after work tonight. Just 5 more hours until I can dig in.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get past spontaneous bootay... it's stupid. FFS, I'm not playing this because I want to be challenged. She interrupts all my attacks and then it skips my entire turn and I die the next round.

I guessed the code for the basement before going to Cartman’s room. Glad I did! It gives you an awesome reaction! 😂

That fight was a bitch. I think I died twice before managing to accomplish it. I just kept using any moves that allowed both characters to skip up and move multiple steps. The third try, I finally was able to get into a rhythm where I kept both characters at least a solid 2-3 moves ahead of Bootay. But damn, that was more challenging than I expected.

Meanwhile, damn this game is fun. It's been a bit of a readjustment, going from playing beating Stick of Truth for the first time literally Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning, to then jumping into Fractured Thursday afternoon and having to completely learn a new fight system and powers/skills from scratch.

But I was able to pick it up fairly quickly. The only time I've lost a fight and died and had to reload to a checkpoint was the Spontaneous Bootay part, where I died twice before I was able to figure out a way to stay ahead of that gigantic ***.

Other than that, I'm enjoying the game. Just got my third power, up to level 8 I think and about to head to U-Haul It for the first time for the next main mission.

The new combat system is really confusing to me, right now. Definitely gonna take a little while to figure it out.

Yeah it took me at least 5 times, and it was super frustrating because you couldn't skip the cutscenes and had to do the whole first part every time, which ruined my immersion. It was beginning to feel like something a Dark Souls game would do. The thing is, when I finally made it past her, I hadn't done anything different really, so idk what the trick was.
After that, I played for another 4 hours or so, so the game as a whole is great so far.

Yeah, that annoyed me, ending up back outside, having to fight through all the strippers all over again, then having to sit to through the various cutscenes a second and third time. They could have at least made the point where Spontaneous Bootay appears a checkpoint or something.

As for me, I did have to switch things up a little bit. I had just been using my most powerful attacks to try and kill the strippers quickly and then move forward away from Bootay, but it wasn't working quick enough, so she would catch up to me.

After the second time, I started going more with movement attacks that while they may leave strippers alive and take two attacks to kill, it would at least keep me well ahead of Bootay, with not even knock back attacks from the strippers putting me in danger.

So I just kept using Captain Diabetes' attack where he moves forward two or three spaces to attack and then he trades spots with the stripper, so he ends up getting a butt load of space due to his maximum movement forward pre-attack, then another couple squares with his attack.

With that sole attack, he would end up going from just two to five to seven spaces ahead of Bootay and staying that far ahead with each turn. I had a smaller movement attack with my New Kid where I too was able to stay out of danger, but he was usually a bit closer to Bootay where I had to make sure to make maximum movements every turn to stay safe.

It was with Captain Diabetes and that square switch attack that I was able to ultimately reach Classi and get past the mission.

I don't know why, but I was damn near in tears from laughing when I did the sand blaster buddy move for the first time. Just between not sure what to expect when I did it for the first time during the Hundred Hands of Chaos mission, and then the reaction, both vocal and facial, of everyone else upon witnessing the new powers of the Butt Lord, my god I couldn't stop laughing. God I love this game.

And the Haywire buddy power takes the lead over Sand Blaster for funniest buddy power. Oh dear lord, lmao. That poor hamster, forever unclean, lol.

I’m gonna agree with everyone here. That Spontaneous Bootay fight was TOUGH! Felt way too early in the game to go through that kind of frustration. I think it took me 5 tries.

I'm pretty close to the end and there hasn't been another fight remotely close to that difficult.

Yeah, I'm on the police station mission right now and no fight has come anywhere close to the difficulty of Spontaneous Bootay.

I'm surprised to hear people struggled with Bootay, maybe I'm on a lower difficulty? I got through it on my first try, just used all my movement attacks, occasionally using AOE to remove obstacles, and just constantly going as fast as I could, would get two moves in before she dropped (1 for NK and 1 for CD).
