Guess I've got a taste for "crappy" games. Mass Effect and Dragon Age are probably my two favorite series currently going.

I actually agree with both of you. I love all 3 games but the amount of fanfic pandering that's in the story is eyerolling. In ME1, you can only hook up with other humans and Asari. Asari have magic mind sex powers in the lore so I can go with it. In ME2, you could suddenly bang Turians, Quarians, and Drell. How are all these species sexually compatible with humans. Then in ME3, we have Joker wanting to bang a robot. Now, everyone is hyped up to bang this new alien. Once again, how are all these species sexually compatible?

In terms of my favorites, I like 3 the best, easily. It was the perfect blend of ME1 and ME2. I think ME2 is the weakest despite it being most people's favorites, Shepard dying and resurrecting is dumb. It may have the best character development but it came at the cost of having a plot about finding a way to stop the Reapers. ME2 is basically "Get squadmate, do favor for squadmate" with the occasional Collector mission thrown in. ME2 is still a fantastic game to play but it's story left a lot to be desired.

Y'all mad a game company is giving players options in their games?

If it isn't for you don't pursue that story arc.

I'll never fault a game company for giving players options and things they want to see in their games, even if it isn't for me. I do find it funny though that people do the same thing in The Show and Madden forums here and pander to Ramone and EA Sports for things in their games, but get mad because people want to have sex with aliens.

Frazier also revealed that Mass Effect: Andromeda would have a mechanic that would “scratch the itch” of those craving something similar to the Trials feature of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Trials allowed players to strengthen enemies or hinder their own party during gameplay with the promise of better loot, and the feature was widely praised for making the game’s side quests feel more challenging. Given the fact that Mass Effect: Andromeda will place a big importance on side quests, it makes sense a similar feature would be present somewhere in the game.

Class/skill system looks awesome. Think I'll really like that it's going to be unrestricted so you can try whatever combinations you want.

Combat video part 2. I like the different load out options. Gives you 12 options in the field although you have to pause between the three sets and only use 4 at a time. In DAI you had 8 plus a basic move through using L2. I often wanted more of my moves mapped to the controller but you had 9 abilities without pausing. Not crazy about the pausing but I do like the cool down penalty.
