ok, well this will be my last beating of the dead horse, but this game seems to have more technical issues that need patching than most games, so I don't think its fair to lump it in with most other games that have much smaller patches.



Yes, every single game gets patches these days, but surely you see a difference between this game and most other AAA releases?

I'm not disagreeing. I totally agree that the game will be better this time next year than it is now. It's just that the game of Madden you buy in August is different than the game you get right after the Super Bowl. It was just a general statement. It wasn't meant to be a defense of this game.

The things that I'm most happy about with the patch are changes to some of the design decisions that made it into the launch version that seemed to be choices that would be made by a novice development house and not a grizzled vet team like Bioware.

Overall if I loved the original trilogy ( which I did) will I love this?

I think you will but you have to understand they are developing the next trilogy of games in the series so the story is a little thin like ME1 but the combat is better than ME2 or 3. They clearly have areas that will need to be tighter and cleaner in the next game but this game can be great fun if you allow it some bumps in the road.

Not waiting on a patch, I'm just waiting for the complete edition because I'm a cheapo But nice to know they will address the technical issues by the time I play it

My post was probably a bit confusing.

There are games in my library I don't even want to play until a patch drops for them..

While, with this game, Tomorrows patch is icing on the cake because I am already enjoying it quite a bit.

Not all feel the way I do, so I'm kind of just speaking from a personal standpoint....to each their own.

I got this game on launch but due to some family and personal issues I held off from starting it until last Thursday once I knew I could dive it. For a guy that's played the Mass Effect franchise so many times that I've lost count, read all comics/books, I love this game. Sure it has its problems but I can overlook them pretty easily. The game is a little bit overwhelming once you get your feet on the ground but that's good in a way. Also my first spin in the Nomad I was a little nervous. I still have nightmares from driving up hills\mountains in the Mako.

Until a few days ago thanks to this thread I had no idea you can send strike teams out from the phone. I love it.

Random stuff. I like jumping off super high mountains in the Nomad. Had a nice sequence where I jumped from one platform over to another doing a air melee on a normal Kett soldier. It looked really dope to me.

I've had this installed since launch night and I was out of town.

With my busy schedule (worked the past 24 days) I haven't felt like digging into a story once I get off work so I've just been playing Battlefield, The Show, or even 2K... I'll probably keep waiting and get back to Horizon Zero Dawn and then come back to Andromeda.

I need to start actually finishing games and I don't want to get too deep into this game until I know I have some time.

Just makes you wonder man, did they really think that folks would want to watch that full transition between planets every time? Was it a way to make you not explore as quickly?

I have no Idea why that wouldn't have been an option to skip from the beginning, lol

Game really starts slow but once your past the enormous "tutorial" it really gets good.

I can't do any more of this game. It's not cohesive at all. The story is too loose with a bunch of tedious activities. I wish it would just get on with the story without all the mining, scanning, and unnecessarily required stuff going on. Disappointed in this installment because I've been a big ME fan for years.

Glad Amazon has an excellent returns policy.

Wish I would have know that richochet bullets have a super odd trajectory. Just wasted a widow 3 research and development on it and it's basically useless.

He's not a part of the Initiative. He couldn't be since he was in ME3. He died over 600 years ago which would make that phone call his sister wants to make to brag about running with Sloane pretty much impossible.
