My friend played on PS3 so he didn't even get to know Wrex at all. I can't imagine, he's one of my favorite characters. But yeah 1 was special, even the elevator conversations and radio broadcasts hearing about some random side quest in a place you'd never heard of, it just gave off an aura of a full universe ready to be explored. Im excited for them to get back to the universe exploration aspect as they seem to want to. The best part of the series to me was being in a universe that was so fully formed and just learning everything about it, I'd never dealt with something similar in a game before.

Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda
ME2 had great cinematics and presentation I think that might be why people are speaking so fondly of it, but I echo what others have said in that it didn't really progress the story like 1 and 3 did.

Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda
I always felt that 1 had the best story, 3 had the best gameplay, but 2 had the best mix of both. In addition, it had the most content (non-DLC). I spent ~45 hours to beat ME1, ~62 hours for ME3, and ~30 hours for ME3...and I like to do all the side content and just wander around and look at the Citadel.
ME2 was just a bigger game, and the end-to-end experience was great, especially some of the new mechanics. Agree the story was lacking, but I loved the journey.?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.

Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda
ME2 is still my favorite of all time. When some characters died at the final mission I straight up felt emotional about it. Never had that before or since in a video game.

Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda
I always felt like 1 was the best for RPG elements (exploring, items, etc.) and antagonists.
2 had the best missions (especially the final mission), DLC and overall cast of characters.
3 had the best moments (resolutions to most of the stories) and combat. Badassfully: It also had Blasto 6.
1 was the worst for combat and had a terrible inventory system.
2 was the worst for RPG elements and general story.
3 probably had the worst ending (though it didn't bother me as much as most).Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

So if I had only played the original on the PC back when it came out, would I be fine playing this when it hits?Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda
Spoilermissions that in ME and ME2 where you would land on the planets and actually do a side mission turned into a "visit planet, tap X in orbit, oh ok, I got the item.
Hopefully Andromeda is ME1's atmosphere and ambiance, with ME2's side missions and ME3's scope.Comment

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda
Any wannabe voice actors out there? BioWare is having this contest to get in the game as an NPC. Rules and junk are here: http://blog.bioware.com/2016/08/30/e...anted-contest/
Unfortunately, if you aren't from a English speaking country, you aren't eligible. Probably has to do with logistics of some kind.
I had to throw my own lot in.

Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda
Looking at my achievements, I noticed that I had all of them from ME2 and ME3 but was missing 2 from ME1 (beat on Hardcore/beat on Insanity). I beat the game on Hardcore over the weekend. Only finishing on Insanity remains. Once I power through that, I'll have every Mass Effect Trilogy achievement.Comment
