This is so cool, I did not know this! So basically what ever race/color you make your character the father will change accordingly. I'm definity going to make an African American Ryder twins now.

I noticed this when I made my custom character and the Dad looked different from what I had seen in early videos and looked eerily like my created character

I'm mad I couldn't give my Ryder a straight up bald head and getting him to look somewhat black wasn't that easy either. Maybe because I picked a white guy preset and changed his color to tan now he looks Dominican or something.

Ok. I downloaded the Mass Effect Apex app and now I see that I'm going to be constantly checking it at work. You can send strike teams out to complete missions while you're away from the game and collect your rewards when you finally cut the game back on. F'n sweet!

Yea, the app is pretty nice for that meta game and going over your mp set ups.

On the topic of strike teams, don't buy a second group right away. There's not enough Bronze level missions for two teams. Save da money for team upgrades instead so they have a better shot at completing silver sooner.

Had I only known this sooner. The very first thing I did was get a second team. Now I'm concentrating on building one up to get to silver and then train the 2nd team.

Well the one positive is there's no penalty for failing a mission so just send that second team out on those 20% ones and cross your fingers

Yeah, I kinda wasn't paying attention and started from an Asian preset, so my Ryder looks like a buzz cut, Tiger Woods-esque Cablinasian, lmao.

Probably have about 9 hours logged so far and its all been MP. I might be starting the campaign this weekend. My spring break starts Friday so can't wait to dive into all these games worth playing right now.

Glad to see that Bioware seems pretty intent on supporting the game post launch. I am sure they won't be able to patch in a brand new facial animation system, but a number of other things can be addressed so hopefully this ends up being close to what a lot of people were hoping for in the long run?

Also, thank you for the tip about the app. I would never have checked that out had I not read about it here.

Just got to my second planet, and just found out your suppose to scan creatures and enemies when their alive. They give about 50 research points from the couple I scanned.

Loving this Dhan I found, that I think ima go for a Vanguard playstyle now.

It seem like there are some mission that you can miss completely if you don't explore.
