    Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands

Last night I hopped into a chopper, and just held down the RT, nothing else. Just letting that thing drift straight up as high as it could then I just looked around the map. What an awesome sight. It's pretty awesome to look around at how large it is, and still be able to identify some key area's I've already visited and such, even from so far away. They did such an awesome job creating the world/map.

So what do you do when you get a chopper that high up for fun? Well, you jump out of it of course and enjoy the view as you free fall, or parachute all the way down. Really cool I thought.

I've played solo through 3 provinces now. I've got to say, I'm enjoying it. I had a lot of time over the past few days and meant to hop online for some co-op. I just never felt the need to. Certainly it would probably be more fun, but I'm still enjoying it regardless solo.

        Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands

I love this game, co-op and solo.

However, calling a chopper could use a tweak.

Standing on the edge of town looking at an open field
Chopper lands behind me half in a building.

Standing in a wide open area
Chopper drops on top and kills me.

It's a little funny sometimes, but I do wish I could change between calling the chopper or the armored truck.

lol! I only just unlocked the armored car. My buddies don't like it because you have a Gunner position and everyone else is stuck in the vehicle watching.

What is this calling the armored car? Am I missing something that I did not see in the game?

That makes sense then. I really only use the overpowered rebel spotting and the rebel backup support. Everything else i never really use, I think i called a couple of cars to be dropped off but that's it.

I love the noise-maker then drop some mortar fire on them combo.

Birthday coming up, always get my son to get in moms ear to get me a game. Was not sure if wanted this or MEA, but after playing this on beta and MEA on early access, I had more fun with Wildlands.

Anyone having any issues logging into servers and playing with friends?

This happened to me during the Closed Beta and now again where I am trying to join with friends and it times out. I can only play solo.

                        Pain in the butt.

Did some insane **** last night. We went to get the MSR, so we had to cross the entire 5 skull territory to get there. We died several times along the way whether it was from Unidad, flying off motorcycles like really bad stuntmen, or just doing stupid stuff. Finally get the Intel to know where the actual weapon is, and go to the location. First time we try to infiltrate the mine we get spotted after the 2nd kill. Dead.

Then we try again, get deep into the mine and realize we took a wrong turn. We had enemies all around us, including like 4 heavies that were looking for us. We high tail it as fast as we can away, and somehow end up next to the weapon case. Felt so good.

Bought this game and honestly what a waste of money in my opinion. Graphics are mediocre at best, repetitive missions, monotone characters, mechanics and fluidity of movement are terrible, flying controls suck, fun factor = 0 even playing with friend.

                            Just my opinion.

I have that issue. If you are on XB1 it might be from hibernating instead of exiting the game or turning off your XB1 all the way off.

I finally figured out I need to go into my notifications or they will never disappear off screen while playing.

The game isn't for everyone. I got it today and I love it but I also love open world 3rd person games so it's perfect for me.
