Ghost and th division are not the same game.

You can matchmake too...we did a lot of that.

Playing SP you have 3 squad mates you give orders to when you choose how to engage but you can definitely roam around the land no problem.

Oh yeah....When teammates leave the game the AI teammates replace them.

Yeah, I get that they are different types of games from the gameplay standpoint.


All I really meant was can I seamlessly play through my version of the open world in and out of my missions solo with 3 AI, and with 3 real online people teammates all within the same world similar to The Division and it just keeps unlocking my progress through the game world whether I play it solo with 3AI, or with 3 players through matchmaking. Like, there's no separate world for my own "offline" play, a separate for "online/matchmaking", it's just all one world regardless of how my squad of 4 is put together.

I know that there was a cover system in the game but it's like Tomb Raider where you crouch behind stuff as opposed to The Division where you're pressed up against cover.

The lack of a true cover system is my only complaint based on what I have seen and read. Just wish it was setup like The Division as it was perfect, at least for me anyway.

I couldn't agree with your comment on the cover system anymore. Not sure why they wouldn't have just ported that over from The Division. It's a great system IMO. Easy to get in and out of cover, fire from cover if necessary, fire out of cover, jump out of cover and over your obstacle of choice for cover. It's just a great system. You'd think in a more tactical style of game like this one they'd have added that, rather than what it seems they've used.

Has anyone seen a vid where they show this versions sync shot? All this vids I've seen its rather hectic GTA style running and gunning. I want to see some stealth.

Post 299 has a quote of a vid that shows sync shot about 15 min mark.. IF that's what you're talking about.

I am really looking forward to this game despite the previews saying it has more in common with Just Cause than Ghost Recon. Pretty excited about being able to get this for my PC and max the settings out.

Despite all of this, I am tempering my expectations as I feel a let down coming.

Don't know much about just cause but want far cry primal compared to it? If so that'd be awesome if this game is like just cause because I played far cry primal constantly last year

Yea that's bad, I don't care who comes in here trying to spin it. I'm still getting it but I'm not going digital gold (or whatever it's called) edition on this game. Lesson learned on The Division. I'm buying disc so I can return it ASAP if I'm not feeling it.

More Just Cause than Ghost Recon is a shame really. Makes me miss them old school GRAW days even more sadly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still on board 100% but just by looking at the videos, this is not the Ghost Recon I remember. It looks like a incredible game and I'm in on day one, it's just not what Ghost Recon was all about(careful planning, realistic damage)
