Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Fallen Ghosts DLC complete. AMAZING......extremely hard too. This is the type of DLC where you really want to switch guns for the different missions because the enemy is no joke. 10 out of 10 for me. This game for me is easily in the top 5 games of 2017.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Okay....RANT time!!!
Five days later and this game is just about done for me as so much is aggravating and frustrating the hell out of me. Two out of the last three Ubisoft games for me just aren't what they were/should be imo. Really hoping that the new ACO/FC5 doesn't screw up what I have loved about Ubisoft games.
Back to GRW, just so many complaints.
- Cover system ******* sucks, period. Can't aim/shoot behind cover at all. Your character is ALWAYS exposed every ******* time!!! Why the team for GRW didn't copy The Division is freaking beyond me!!!
- Gunplay is nowhere near as good or as satisfying as in The Division. I miss way too much in this game and when you add in the crappy cover system and it's simply not what it should be.
- Climbing / Jumping. First, there's no jump button/command. This is insane. Why can't I ******* jump??? Rarely if ever did I need to jump in the Division but in GRW, almost all the damn time, im looking to jump but no such luck since it doesn't exist. Second, climbing sucks. Half the time, something you should be able to climb you can't and instead, must find a spot for the prompt to appear.
- Unidad. I HATE Unidad. Even when I shoot out the alarm system, reinforcements still get called in. How the hell is this possible??? I'm in a province in which there's no story missions. It's 95% Unidad which would be fine if once you clear an outpost, base, etc., it stays cleared but nope. Every motherchucker respawns when you die/fail a mission. Once I clear something, it should be cleared. What's the point in having rebels and trying to get back control of the damn country if the enemies keep respawning all the damn time??? Also, way too many of them and you literally must drive minutes away to eliminate them coming after you because if you don't, they won't stop and yeah, I know, in reality they wouldn't stop but this isn't reality, it's a freaking game.
- Flying a plane/helicopter for the supply missions or even in general and have been shot down by a missile EVERY time. At least eight times. Never fails. And yeah, I know about the missile defense systems and even after I blow a few of them up, there always seems to be one or more that I somehow missed. This right here is what's completely turning me off the most right now. Spent an entire eight hour day if not more on this damn province and have barely completed half of the side missions (there's no story missions). This is honestly pissing me off!!!
- Team AI is pretty much useless. They are just dumb. I should be able to truly play solo unless a specific mission requires my team mates. They get spotted or go where they shouldn't which leads to them getting spotted. It's simply so annoying that I just keep them "held back" just outside of the area im in so they stay out of my way. And yes, I know that this game is a four player co-op based game but if Rebellion can allow one to four players and scale difficulty based on that in freaking Zombie Army Trilogy, why can't it be done in GRW? Argh and Ugh.
- Completion menu percentage. Where the hell is it? I hate open world games that don't tell me my overall progression as well as progression for the collectables, side missions, etc. Seriously, why do basic things get removed/eliminated all the damn time?
- Stealth kills/no knife. This is just freaking stupid. Knocking out enemies which kills them anyway somehow is just dumb. There should be stealth kills and where the **** is my knife? Seriously, this should be basic and a given but yet, it doesn't exist.
- This one is just funny. Go to a SB/Unidad base/area at night where the enemies will sleep. Go in and kill them via knockout. Go a little bit away and watch the other enemies that are still alive go take a nap to replace the enemies that I just killed. This also happens on regular patterns/routes the enemies take. I'm playing on NORMAL difficulty so maybe, that's why this happens but either way, it's funny.
- The mobile convoys. This is fine but once I eliminate one, that's it, it shouldn't come back. I know this is done so you can get the supplies but seriously, it's annoying trying to complete a rebel side mission and a stupid convoy gets close, spots me amazingly and I get screwed over.
If it wasn't for the fact that this game is absolutely gorgeous, has HDR and it's from Ubisoft, I probably would have already quit. Even sadder, I did finish Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 and it would be funny as hell if I end up quitting GRW because that's something I never ever expected or even thought would happen.
Tomorrow is make or break time. I'm going to clear out the entire freaking province and missile defense systems before doing any rebel side mission while at the same time, avoid getting killed in the process since dying/fast travelling respawns all the enemies no matter what. After I do this, if I still get shot down by a freaking missile, this game is gone.
Rant over (for now).Comment

You know what's funny ? In the Fallen Ghosts DLC, you get knife stealth kills. They added a knife, a mighty bright knife.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Everything that I posted above is still valid and some stuff still frustrates and aggravates me but I love the Drug Cartel storyline and really enjoying just being out in the massive world. The environments are insane. I would recommend renting first from GameFly or buying a used copy at GameStop and if you return it within 7 days, you get a full refund which can also be looked at as a free rental. LOL.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Been on the fence on this one. Have a few friends (played The Division together) that want me to get in on this one. Been waiting for a sale, but not sure if I can hold out. Full price worth it at this point to you all coming off of The Division?Comment
