Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
So this new DLC is annoying. It is a style of mission I hate. Go to the center of a Unidad base undetected, steal a helicopter and fly out undetected. Also the entire base is surrounded by SAM sites. After a dozen tries, I turned it off for now.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Reminds me of one mission where I had to take a truck into a Santa Blanca base, sneak out and gather intel, and take that truck out....was stupid easy to get spotted, very annoying.Last edited by mgoblue; 12-12-2018, 12:32 PM.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Well that base is HUGE. It is like 4 bases combined into one. Getting to the helicopter isn't the problem. The problem is the base is littered with several SAM sites on it and all around it, with more then 1 power station. Even if you avoid all of that, they then send attack helicopters after you that you have to shoot down while also avoiding the SAM sites that are still shooting at you. The most annoying thing is that if you die, they make you start all over again from the beginning.
It is like come on, it took me 10 minutes to get to the helicopter, I was flying a good 5 minutes before I was killed and now you want me to do all that over again ??Comment

That makes sense...I had a few others like that too, you can't get caught and after 10 minutes something ruins it.
I want to kill everyone before I go for El Sueno, but I tried that mission a few times and it's rough...getting there requires a helicopter, but the few times I tried I got shot down lolNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
yeah it would be better if the helicopter controls were better. The helicopter controls in this game is pretty terrible.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Good news.......the DLC is 2 missions. Bad news......it is so heavily scripted with enemy spawns and scripted time limits on the second mission that it completely takes all the fun out of the DLC. And much like the Splinter Cell DLC, the guy from Future Soldier don't help you kill anybody. DLC is just highly annoying and pisses you off.
Ghost Recon team need to hire a new writer and game play designer. DLC had so much potential, but it was ruined by scripted time limits and scripted enemy spawns that forces you into shoot outs.Comment

I just yesterday got the last cartel guy (I'd gotten all the sub bosses but had a few to get so I could do the 2nd CIA guy mission to get the best ending.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Big update the other day. It will be easier if I just post the link. https://www.trueachievements.com/n36...-available-now
Also they changed the front-end UI. I think it looks much better.
I've been playing this game for over a year now and it never gets old. Beat it on PS4 but didn't get 100% Working on completing everything this run.Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
I didn't do the DLC, but the base game was awesome. It exceeded my expectations and I ended up loving the gameplay loop they set up. I really hope they make a new oneNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
This game ended up being well worth the day one purchase when it first came out. It took me two months to beat it because there was so much to explore and do. I loved how massive and wide open the map was and the different biomes you experienced from one region to the next.
I actually started a brand new campaign playthrough two or three months ago. I really need to fire this up again and get back to the action.
