Looking at picking this up during the current sale, just one question for you guys who have the game, how much of the game is based around the "detective" mode mechanic from batman/witcher/mordor? I.e. Go to an area, enable this other viewing option, look around area, find something that was hidden before but is visible now, do something as a result? It's the one mechanic that just bugs me for some reason.

Well, pardon the pun, but a lot of the focus is on the FOCUS. You have to use it to go through the game. If you really have a problem with that, then this is probably not for you. That'd be a shame, tho, because this is one of the best games I've ever played. Loved every minute of it (110 hours spent playing) and can't wait for the DLC!

I picked this up on sale last week, wow what a great game. I'm only 19% into the game but I am loving it. It's a very cool world so far.

Me too. I found the game too stealth based and too many rpg elements from what I was expecting. Kind of bored and frustrated me with some things. I am going to try and play it again but this game has been a disappointment for me so far.

I liked it until Zelda hit, I tried to go back to HZD but it just doesn't pull me in at all. I got bored as well but I plan to try to get back into it this summer or at least give it as second chance.

My time when I manually save shows 24 hours played and I'm level 26.

I really, really like this game. It's definitely that happy mix between TW3 and UC4 for me. I purchased this and Andromeda about the same time like a fool, knowing I don't have time for both. Part of the appeal has to be the outstanding graphics that come along with it. I take way too many screenshots.

When I'm done with this I'm either going back to Andromeda or starting up the Batman series again from Arkham Asylum.

Bought this on the Days of Play sale. This game is beautiful and fun. I'm playing on the vanilla PS4 and a Panny Plasma. Can't imagine this thing on the Pro and a 4K.

Will definitely be buying this game digitally later this year when The Frozen Wilds DLC gets released which by the way is on sale for $15 on PSN if you're a Plus subscriber. Horizon is the second best game this generation only behind The Witcher III in my opinion.

Despite not being halfway through the year, looking at the remaining games that im buying and playing, I can already say that no other game this year is going to match let alone surpass Horizon for me in regards to it being my game of the year.

That's just how excellent Horizon is.

Level 49 all perks taken except 2 (Fighter perk and last Mount perk).

Just left Mothers Mountain. This story is amazing!!!

I know I am in the home stretch here......can’t wait for the DLC as well. Just a marvelous experience.

The game really picks up once you start leveling up and head to Meridian.
