For not being much of a fan of open world action games vs linear I must say I'm enjoying this as much as UC4 and the graphics are insane especially for open world. Ill give it a solid 9.5 so far

I have the digital version and have not noticed any noise from my PS4 Pro at all. Playing on Resolution Mode FWIW.

Yeah it seems to be hit or miss. There's a reddit post full of people saying the pro is ridiculously loud when playing this game. Guess it varies unit to unit. Kinda sucks.

I could use some assistance.

First, please excuse the quality of this video I a posting, there is something wrong with my internet connection. I have like 250 down and 25 up on my Comcast connection but for some reason anytime I try to stream its just terrible quality

Also, if you click this video, please turn the sound off, my mic was malfunctioning and the entire video there is this super lame sound going on in the background.

I am posting this video just to check and make sure there isn't something wrong with my game and/or system. I am just super paranoid about this kind of stuff and it might be ridiculous on my end, I admit.

This weird kind of pop-in that is happening on that rock, I notice that kind of thing all over the world as I run through it. It isn't widespread, just little bits and pieces here and there but pretty consistent. It doesn't really detract from the outstanding overall visuals, it just is something I notice and I want to make sure this is normal for everyone, and if not should I be concerned that my SSD is dying already? Load times and whatnot seem great still, and I know these consoles still have crappy CPUs and RAM so I understand why pop-in and texture streaming slowdown here and there would be happening with a game this great looking and massive.

I get it too. It's adding detail or adjusting shadows at different draw distances. I've seen it pop in roots under a tree that was clinging to the top/side of steep stream bank.

I am so invested in this game. The graphics, the gameplay and the story has me so into it. I can spend all day doing nothing but hunting and side quests lol. One thing I do wish they added was a way to flip some controls like my square and circle around with each other.

Sorry to say this, but this games a turd. Seriously. It's way way too hard for it's own good. I'm trying to kill the demon in the area with the other people, and it's impossible. I have tried 20 times, and I give up. If you are a casual gamer, don't buy this game. It will piss you off.

The only problem I have noticed with the game are very abrupt day/night cycles can look like texture pop in.
And the very sudden change in weather looks wrong.......but I have to say they are small problems in an otherwise great game.
The combat is really engaging,really had fun taking down the first Sawtooth.

Played for a few hours last night and can tell this game is really cool. The only problem is today, tomorrow and sat I have zero free time to play and also Zelda coming out tomorrow. So those 2 hours I played last night may be all I play for like a month or 2.

Also for those experiencing the loud fan noise on PS4 pro, it's the mini map that is the culprit. For some reason if you open it and leave it open your fan starts to pick up speed and get loud. I've officially tested this out all night.

I have the first model PS4 pro, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but this is the only game I have come across that does this...and I play a lot of video games.

All digital owners go to your mini map and just leave it on for a few mins or longer, and your PS4 pro should sound like a jet engine taking off.

Other than that I'm having a great time with this game.

See I still can't help but wonder if something is wrong on my end. The pop in I experience isn't bad by any stretch, it's not like No Mans Sky or anything, but I definitely see little bits of it in random spots pretty consistently. This is gonna make me plug in a new HD just to make sure it isn't my SSD failing, lol
