Wow I didn't see that, that's awesome

I'm gonna unlock it next. The first thing I did was work most of the way down that tree. I actually spent the first 6 hours of playtime without silent kill because of it. Haha. Was kinda brutal.

Is anyone else hearing Alloy randomly say things like, "I couldn't put a dent in that thing" with no enemies around?

I'd wait to bump up the difficulty till you're in an area with more than just Watchers and Striders. There's things you can't one hit stealth kill.

This is pretty sound advice. I haven't gotten that far yet (really taking my time with this baby).

Was it common knowledge that this takes place in Colorado? The first vantage point showed a building that looked a lot like the Air Force Academy but I was like "oh just a coincidence" then second vantage point confirmed Colorado Springs

There are some GPS coordinates showing where to find Aloy, the location is Pikes Peak.

But, no, I don't think it was widely know. It's part of the discovery fun of the game.

This game could have its own The Little Things thread.

Aloy's actions are so fleshed out. She raises her arms above the tall grass as you run through it or brush the tops with her hands if you walk. Stop while climbing a cliff and she'll hang with one hand and shake the other as if it's cramping. Stand idle in the snow and she gazes up and tries to catch snow flakes. Give her time and she'll shake herself off after getting out of water.

Anybody shot a strider while it was in midair and had it roll on top of them lol. Also I love shooting a group of grazers in the back

I am having trouble finding a certain ancient vessel. I was gonna post a pic but I worried that exposing the map, even though I'm not even very far in the game, could be potentially spoilery

It's in an area very close to the Devils Thirst icon on the map, right below the icon and a little to the left of it. Seems to be just empty buildin

Failed my first cauldron miserably,got to the core with only enough resources to craft two tripcaster's.
I've promised myself I won't drop the difficulty from hard to overcome a challenge.
Good game though,best I've played in some years.......
