Crap, Daniel's post reminded me that I have a bunch of tutorial missions I forgot to do. Will probably knock them out after this story mission. Or wait, do you get a bonus for completing every tutorial mission, or is it pointless to do them if you are already lvl 50?

I think I found an area that will be tied to a story mission later on. Absolutely stunning looking area that I can't wait to revisit whenever the story comes around to it.

The tutorials give you XP. Pretty sure that's all they give you. I did them all in the first third of the game except for the Tearblaster weapon.

There's a few awesome areas later on in the story that you wouldn't even know existed even if you explored those areas.

Just picked up my fourth power cell, just need one more. Finished "The Grave Hoard" mission. The plot starting to piece together a bit more now. Very interested in finding out more.

Well I wanna keep playing but I gotta make myself get to bed for work tomorrow.

I played the next couple story missions. Lot of info gets thrown at you pretty quickly.

Just making sure I got this right:

I feel I have a firm grasp on the majority of the story, with one exception. So Faro erased the Apollo archives, so when Gaia started birthing humans again there was nothing to teach them, right? And then they ran out of food for the humans so they had to go outside, which is how the tribes started? Or am I missing something

So they realized that they couldn't stop the Faro machines, but didn't tell everyone that, and basically gave everyone that could handle it a weapon to fight the machines off as long they could in order to give Elizabeth and her crew time to create Gaia/Zero Dawn?

Everything else, Hades, machines killing all biotics on Earth and then Gaia shuts down Faro machines and begins to re-populate, all that stuff makes sense. I kinda wish they had made it a little less obvious Aloy was a clone, I got that feeling from almost the beginning, but I guess there isn't much they can do there.

When Sylens first popped up I had a bad feeling. The rescue in the metal ring was cool, he is a pretty cool/interesting character. Just got to the point where he gives the lance and takes off, wonder if we see him again.

Finish the story and if you still have questions, I'll answer them the best I can. And on a side note - once the game is finished and the credits go, make sure that you watch them since there's an extra scene once they finish.

I am only 25 hours in and a level 24. There is no way this is done before March 28th.

I am going to enjoy this game as my break from The Show 17. However long it takes to finish...so be it. But I am soaking in everything. Just an amazing game and I will say it again, I have not had a story experience like this since TLOU. And the combat is awesome. I love the different options and approaches I can take.

Obviously I have not played The Witcher III (actually started it, got about 10 hours into it and realized I need to dedicate myself to it so I am going to restart it and commit to it after Horizon).

Awesome. Right after I finished the game. I think I hit x to buy echo shells and wire more than I used my melee.

Horizon: Zero Dawn

I have really learned how to use override well in my travels and I need to find my second Caulderon asap to learn more unlocks.

As you progress you find yourself using a lot of resources battling herds of machines. Instead I have now started overriding them to conserve my traps and ammo for bigger tougher machines.
