With so many games coming out, this wasn't really on my radar but as soon as a patch is released to fix the load times, I'll grab it. Seems like something I'd enjoy.

12-14 hours from what I can remember reading.

Every review I've read or watched says 8 hrs. Where are you getting your figure from?

My copy arrived yesterday but I'm still wondering if I should keep it. I want to play through the three Bioshock games from the collection and by then Mafia 3 will be out.

The few reviews I read stated 12-14 hours becsuse of load times.

Pretty enjoyable experience thus far, haven't died yet so can't discuss on those load times, initial load time was a solid minute, load between zones maybe 20 seconds? I wish it was better but haven't had too many issues aside from a long load in, which I have a lot more patience with since I've been playing Deus Ex a lot lately.

If this game has an additional 4-6 hrs just from load times, it has even more issues than I thought.

Maybe it's because I'm on PC or I'm just not far enough in the game yet, but I haven't noticed really long loading times.

From what I have been reading, after the 5 hour mark it really goes down hill as far as technical issues and such.

That quote is more about the inconveniences, namely having to grind for collectibles to unlock the end game, which is in turn exacerbated by the load times. I've been enjoying the game on the One S so far but i've made a point to touch the side content that matches my level since i have an idea of the # of collectibles you need from reading the reviews.

Ugh right as i say that I've reached the first of these doors and i need 3x what i have in order to reach the end.. It's completely unnatural esp considering the story beats.. The length is definitely padded by grinding at the end

I am about 4 hours in and I really enjoy this game

40 dollars is a great price for it

On the PC I seem to be locked in at 60 FPS (maybe a dip here or there) with everything maxed out, though I am not sure because fraps isnt workin for me with this game, for some reason. Runnin on my SSD my load times are only between 7-14 seconds, min/max.

I haven't even progressed through the story very much I just like upgrading my corebot (brain farting on his name right now, the dog) as much as possible. I like having little tasks like that to do in games, feel like I am always progressing in some small way.

From a technical standpoint, I sometimes I think the game looks great and other times (some of the shadows are just awful to the point of me wondering if they are bugged) it looks pretty average-below average.

I hope this game is successful, I would like to see what they improve upon and flesh out with a sequel. I will get more in depth once I finish the game. So far I am enjoying the mechanics very much.

My score right now - 7.5 out of time

Xbox Play Anywhere is AWESOME, cant wait for Gears!

I should add, to my little impressions above, that I like games that make you grind like this. This kind of grind appeals to me. I like having that little carrot dangling to keep me motivated, if that makes sense.

Wait, what??? You have to find all the collectibles in order to get the ending or something, ala Batman Arkham Knight? Please explain. Thanks.

Even though I loved Asylum & City I haven't actually played Knight yet (was waiting for nonexistent GOTY edition) but essentially yes. It's technically not all of the collectibles (specifically cores) but it's enough that there is no way you could naturally have a sufficient amount at the end as you need different frames to reach many of them.
