Anyone know how long they'll offer the XB1 S bundle with GoW4? I want to get it, but may be another week or so. Not sure if they usually stop bundles fairly soon.

You should still be able to get it next week. Wouldn't worry about it selling out or getting discontinued anytime soon.

I dont mind linear but this game is very linear like side scroll game, doesn't allow for simple puzzles, the maps are flat, would like to see more verticalized maps where we can use grappling hooks, add a water map where we use speed boats or even swim, flying vehicles would be nice, would like the ability to crouth. The game does not need to be open world but they are going to have to open up the maps a little bit more to allow for the game to grow.

The graphics in the campaign look amazing. Also I'm loving King of the hill multiplayer. So much fun. I'm loving every minute with this game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider and Gears 4 are the best looking games on Xbox 1.

The graphics are good but missing a few things, the characters don't get blood on their gear or any residuals on their gear, rain doesn't appear to bounce off the gear, they have the same guns in every cut scene.

Gears is gears just like Uncharted is Uncharted. The campaign feels familiar in the best way possible for me
Play Anywhere is such a win. Game is silky sm smooth

I don't really care about open world vs linear or single vs multi player, a game is either good for me or it isnt

The difference between Uncharted and Gears is that in Uncharted their more things to do that breaks up the monotony, more variety game play. As I said in another post, I dont mind repetitive gameplay as long is their a variety of repetitive things to do which is not the case in in GoW.

I just don't think this series is for you. The things you want are things that would make this cease to be a Gears game. Thinking comes from the combat (especially at higher difficulties). The rest of the game is there to pull us through the world and story. It's beauty is in its simplicity. I get what you're asking for, but that's not this series. There are definitely options out there that will give you want you want (I'm a huge Uncharted and TR fan), but IMO there is also only one franchise that gives us the feel of Gears, and that's Gears.

Yeah I dunno. Everything you just said makes it not gears imo.

The difference between uncharted and gears is that uncharted is more like tomb raider. Gears is gears.

I'm actually having a good time playing tdm right now. I have to just be playing total noobs. I usually rage quit after 2 matches.

The coin situation is still pathetic though.

Slowly finding my groove in MP. A lot of rust on day 1 but am starting to get back into the swing of things. Learning the new maps and weapons helps. Still some work to be done there, though. I could tell the rust was wearing off after receiving a message over XBL calling me a dickhead and my mother a whore. Man, how I missed those. lol

As for the solo campaign, all I've done is the prologue. Graphics are incredible and it felt very much like Gears of War, which is a good thing.

TC is looking into few coins and scraps being collected.

Slowly finding my groove in MP. A lot of rust on day 1 but am starting to get back into the swing of things. Learning the new maps and weapons helps. Still some work to be done there, though. Wait until you get rid of all the rust, you'll have the dudes you played against spamming you with messages, have their friends who weren't even in game spamming and reporting you messing up your xbox live reputation.

Then comes the revenge send all the messages to the enforcement team and they'll wind up banned from communications for awhile 😇

It needs major adjusting. They clearly made the grind to an elite pack way too long and it's a bad look since you can pay cash for these packs.

It's over now. I was just in core modes. Was that the issue? Being in core modes?

Edit: I just noticed core modes are ranked. I'm an idiot haha. Obviously they are since I had to play qualifying matches.
