Game has a lot of replay value but the disconnects from server while in the middle of a online contracts sucks.

Do you guys have to stay connected online? I remember reading that someone from IO Interactive said that you don't need to be connected online in order to play the game.

If you start the game online, then yes you have to stay connected. If the servers drop then you'll get booted back to the main menu. You can play the game in offline mode and not have to worry about that though. Offline mode doesn't have Contracts or challenges though so you'd be missing out on a big part of the game.

Also any unlocks you got while playing online won't be there if you play offline. The game treats it as 2 different saves which makes no sense to me.

The games great, but there's a lot of technical issues between the servers going down and the long load times on consoles.

Being someone who only plays sports games.
The hitman series is the ONLY other video game I can get into.

I didn't like Absolution, but the first 3 games were great.
If Blood Money went on sale for ps4 right now. I would buy it full price.

That being said- I played the Showstopper mission for the first time on Sunday.


So far- this particular mission wont give me replay value like a lot of the blood money missions. I think it is just the atmosphere of the building. There is a fashion show going on, and an auction upstairs. That's about it. Aside from that, its just a bunch of people standing around. The interior is huge- Ill say that.

I don't wanna write a novel and explain this out, but in Blood money levels I liked how the AI would have a lot of their own routes that they stuck buy. The way this level is set up, you have to unlock some opportunities, to get the AI to make certain routes or paths.

Im hoping the next location is different, but so far, this level- atmosphere wise, feels more like absolution than blood money to me.

Between this type of release (and said release being average) and ufc being awful, just a suck week for me.

At least rocket league hype was legit.

I'm out of hitman until the final physical release.

I'm buying this but only when I'm finished a kitchen reno I'm doing. Should be a nice reward - I did play the demo/beta briefly and liked it, but Hitman is a game you have to kind of play it 'right' if that makes sense. It's the most fun when you're playing it the way it's meant to be played because it goes sideways really fast and is very unrewarding if you go guns blazing or don't 'get' the different strategies to use and I admit I often don't.

Never the less, it's awesome when firing on all cylindars

ok.
my rant was a bit harsh.
I was more pissed how the game is turning into an online only game.

But I played showstopper again yesterday, and couldn't get enough of it.
I literally took almost 90 minutes to kill both targets.

it was so fun.

I will say, I want the next episode already though. And I usually only turn my ps4 on about 4-5 hrs a week.

But yeah- I was wrong saying this was like absolution.Its not.

Some of the melee and other animations are the same, but the gameplay is pure fun again.

I hope with this episodic release model, they will continue to update the game.

Like for the next episode Im hoping there is more blood, and they allow more offline stuff.
Also- improve the loading times.

If this game was released all at once, it would probably be my alltime favorite game.
better than blood money.

I just hate having to wait for the next episode.

I've completed all of the required feats to get it, but never received it.

I just bought Sapienza for 10 bucks but I see it listed as an add on. Can I play it flat out without having to buy the intro pack?

You have to buy the intro pack.

Paris is worth picking up too. And if the upcoming monthly dlc is like sapienza the rest will be worth it too.
