I see that King of Fighters XIV finally has a release date. Never messed with the series, but I'm going to grab it when it comes out. The visuals are really disappointing, though. At least it will have a lot of modes. Looking forward to team play online.

SF V continues to annoy with lack of content. Waiting on KOF which I love as a series. Looking at GG Xrd Revelator in the mean time. Found it for 25% on release day so going to give it a shot.

Seems Revelator is more of a patch of SIGN than a new game. Same menus, same music, etc. Just 5 new characters and other balances. Not that it's a bad thing, just hard to justify the price. That being said, Love LOVE LOVE Guilty Gear and how it plays.

I think that's typically how all of the ArcSys games are released. Handful of new characters, balance changes, and maybe a costume redesign. They do continue to progress the story though.

Watched Maximillian play through the tutorial last night and it looked like a very fun way to introduce new players to the basics of making Guilty Gear work.

This is how I feel. I'd like to play this one, but $60 is a lot to ask for a game that basically looks like the Sign I already have. Also, the fact that I'm horrible at Guilty Gear doesn't help lol. I'll get it sooner or later, though.

Great evening on Guilty Gear. Two of my friends saw that I picked up it up, so they went and got it too. Just had a really fun session. I tried messing a bit with Jam, but it wasn't working out too well. Raven is crazy fun to use, though. I was doing pretty well with him. Gonna stick with him for a while.

Playing Revelator makes me wonder why I didn't play Sign more. This is such a great game. It's funny, it's a deeper fighter to play than Street Fighter as far as things you need to remember, but it's a lot less frustrating. I'm a big fan of the fast pace too, it's a nice chance of pace.

I don't see how someone can be a fan of fighting games and not own a PS4. Killer Instinct alone wouldn't get the job done for me. Between Street Fighter, Guilty Gear and MXK, we have a great lineup. I'm also very excited about the new KOF. I'm a noob to that series, but the mechanics look interesting to me. If it's as fun as it looks, I'll be able to get past the subpar graphics. I'm also interested to see what they do with Tekken. Good times in the fighting world right now.

It is a great time to be a fighting game fan and I rarely play anything else. I am mega pumped for KOF as a big fan of the series. I suppose I just like how it is a complete game being shipped with a lot of content. The state of what gets you excited these days after stripped down versions of KI and SF V.
