Tough question. I've been between a few but you asked for one. Here goes.

Super Mario World. That game never gets old. Even to just pop in the old snes and play a couple levels, it is flat out an awesome game.

Not to mention, it has a special place for me because it was part of one of the greatest heists of all time.

Christmas, 1991, found the Super Nintendo in my parents closet. Back then, they didn't cellophane the boxes, there it was. So they went out one night, I made my move.

To quote my favorite movie, The Big Lebowski, "The ringer can not look empty!"

Check out the size of a standard phonebook, nearly identical size. WELL, out comes the SNES, it was gorgeous! Realized the a/v cable was the same as NES, made my heist easier.

Put the phone book in the snes box, closed up the lid, and tip toed away with the console, controller, power cable and Super Mario World. Put the console under my bed so no one can see. I was on like level 60 by Christmas.

Christmas morning.......... I go to the tree, see a big rectangular box in sweet wrapping paper. Parents are sitting there, oh man, can't be opening this here and reveal the Yellow Pages sitting in the ringer. Open one side of the wrapping paper, and go nuts, and run like hell with the ringer.

By the time my parents had gotten upstairs, they weren't really on my tail on the way up, they were finishing their coffee, the snes was now revealed from the undermess of my bed and the rest if history.

I can still remember my mother saying, I've been looking everywhere for this phonebook, can't believe it was in the drawer the whole time.....

That will finish the Great Christmas Heist of 1991.

Not only that, but it opens the door for dudes to wax nostalgic on all their childhood games.

Which is cool, but I just wanna see guys' top threes really.

I'm sure everyone has their Double Dribble, River City Ransom, Ninja Gaiden, Jordan vs Bird etc.

You definitely have a point there. Maybe people who played Morrowwind first felt the same.

Agree that Oblivion was on a whole other level though, and Skyrim turned it up to eleven (although I missed the endless green fields).

I've gone back in later years and played Link to the Past, Link's Awakening DX and other titles, but Ocarina was my first Zelda game at the time. Long weekend nights of calling a friend from school and him calling me going "Oh man, are you at this part yet?!" or "Wow, I just beat this boss!" .

Yeah Zelda is my favorite franchise and I don't think there has been even close to a bad Zelda game on consoles but ocarina was my favorite and its not like it was the first Zelda game I played link to the past was the first. So its not like you can just say you love ocarina of time just because it was your first Zelda or something. Yeah I have still not beat the game yet and have been trying to beat it for like 10 years and have talked to some people about it before.

Tecmo Super Bowl. I still play variations of it to this day.

My friend just posted a old Bo Jackson clip with him running all over the field and no one can stop him. Younger generation thinks '04 Michael Vick was the most dominant virtual football player but us older guys know Bo haha

Morrowind GOTY edition was the first and one of the only games I've ever played 150+ hours into. I don't know if anything will ever top it for me.

It will always be TSB for me. I remember writing down stats in the manual, telling people at church about it. I even made fake stats pages in elementary school that mimicked the end of game stats screen.
