seriously?...lmao just because of no review copies?. There's plenty of vids to draw a conclusion if this game is right for you or not...but hey,it's your money.

Pre-ordered the PS4 Deluxe Edition last night. No review copies isn't going to sway me one way or the other. Game is easily my type of game and the three expansions look great. Plus, while the developer is new and this is their first game, I have confidence in 2K and Take Two Interactive. They rarely release a bad game.

My only concern is the bad/horrible enemy AI but at the same time, im assuming that it was dumbed down for demo purposes.

Back to the no review copy thing, plenty of games get reviewed early and end up being crap so to me, it's not a big deal. One more week to go for what im hoping will be my 2016 game of the year. Hell yeah!!!

Where did you pre-order from? If you pre-ordered from Best Buy, why not just keep the pre-order so you can get the $10 reward cert? Keep the game sealed and if you don't want it, simply don't pick it up and after eight days, the order will be cancelled and you'll get refunded. This way, if you decide that you want to buy the game, you'll already have done so and didn't lose the $10 reward cert.

If you pre-ordered from somewhere else or digitally, then disregard my post.

No review copies? Oh no!!!


I've been excited about III ever since it was announced (loved II), so I couldn't care less what scores it gets, I'm diving in day one - have the Deluxe Edition preordered.


Reviews/Opinions CAN be fun to read but never sway my decision - if gameplay videos/previews showcase enough to grab my attention, I'm in.


A lot of gaming review sites have gone down hill anyway and if I based my purchases on review scores, I would've missed out on a bunch of games I liked.

^^^ Couldn't agree more. Video game "journalism" is a joke anyway (I cringe even using that term to even describe whatever it is they do). Half the time their articles have inaccurate information or are written by someone not even a fan of the genre.

If videos and gameplay look good that's all that matters. Let's not forget that a website literally gave Horizon 3 a 4/10.

I don't think I've read a game review in about three years.

I've had the digital version preordered for 6 months now. I won't even read a review. Love the developer. Love the franchise. Love everything they've shown so far. It could get a 1/10 from IGN and I wouldn't care.

To me reviews are simply another arm of advertising (this applies to any medium, but I think its moreso apparent in video games) and tune gamers' perceptions of a game pre-release.

I like going into a game fresh with no bias other than my own. I will typically read reviews as an after-thought to get a different perspective, but I can't count the number of games I've played and thoroughly enjoyed where the "critics" have either lambasted or fell the game felt flat.

Then again I've played and loved some absolute **** games as a kid so I know all about finding that diamond in the rough.

This is literally the only place I get my reviews from. I like the user reviews from OS more than these official sites. Can't remember the last time I actually read a review of a game.

I loved Illusion softworks too, but they were unfortunately liquidated into 2K Czech and most all of the ppl who worked on the excellent Mafia 1 game aren't even there anymore.

I don't waste my time with what those reviewers say. If I listened to reviewers I'd have missed out on some really good games over the years.
