I meant the world, the cars, the lighting, the atmosphere, lots of action. That's what I meant by looks so good, which is really tempting for me. I still think it has good driving model for an open world game. Mafia 2's was great, and this one, while may not be as good, but I still like it (just wish damage was better).

I don't just play the missions when it comes to open world games. I drive/walk/observe the world for hours and hours if it's a living breathing world.

About 5-6 years ago I remember playing Mafia 1 for weeks - just driving, looking for bad guys and messing with them. I still go back to Mafia 2 sometimes, driving around, enjoying the old-school world.

I'm wanting to get it but thinking about holding off, it looks really good but wondering if I should wait for a GOY Edition with all the extras maybe next year?

I just got NBA2k17, getting WWE2k17 the week after this and Battlefield One later in the month. Just really not sure what I want to do right now but like said if it's like GTA then I'm pretty sure I'd like it. Never played a Mafia game btw

If only they put the same effort into the AI... I like watching videos of this game. But whenever I see a mission being played out, the AI just ruins the fun, for me.

I see some people at the 2K forums feel the same about this. It's just too bad. Bigg Cee, you're right.


Note to myself: Take at least 24 hours between watching a video of Watch Dogs 2 and Mafia 3.

I see alot of complaints of the A.I in this game,and I can't remember where I read it (maybe youtube) so don't take this as 100%,but I read that the gameplay was on "easy" just to showcase the various gameplay mechanics.

As I mentioned though...I'm not 100% sure this is the case,but hopefully it is.

Either way I'm getting the game on release and sure I will have fun with it...I read alot of the same complaints about Watch Dogs as well....and with different difficulty settings the game turned out just fine imo.

Because usually hard/easy difficulties just rely on stuff like multipliers on health, drop rates, etc..

Forget about actually having different AI, they usually don't even change the amount of enemies you confront, for instance.

I guess we'll see next week for those that are buying it.

Also just watched a vid last night,and can't remember what difficulty the guy said he was playing on,but he mentions dying alot and the AI is pretty tough...so there's that I guess.
