Re: Who's picking up SW Battlefront?

well today I watched a few in-game videos for SW:BF and it looks allright.

I might download the multiplayer demo if their is one? this may sound strange but the game looks like Halo set in a star wars atmosphere. and it looks kind of slow. I prefer my FPS games to be a little faster than this.

ohhh well.... i`ll give it a free download and go from there.

The Xbox version may die out after some time. How many people are still playing RTCW on XBL, yet I'm sure there are thousands that still play it for the PC.
great point...these games are done better on the PC, just annoying that none ever put in voice support natively...I've gotten used to being with the headset on Live so you can actually talk to your team...having to type in a FPS game is rough. It's not bad in a MMORPG because those don't rely on split second decisions usually

There are actually quite a few people playing RTCW on the Xbox, last time I checked.

Actually, some Best Buy's released the game already. They beat the street date. Reviews are mixed. Servers are slow, the first and 3rd person views take time to get used to. Single player gets old, however this game is a must if you have Xbox LIVE.

Does anyone know what the multiplayer modes are?
IGN's review didn't sound to promising for online or offline play. I'm now skeptical. They claim the game doesn't have "legs". The last thing I need is another game that bores me in a week.

                        Sully,

I agree.. I'm afraid that this will get boring after while. Live or not.

same here- i am still picking the game up even though i wont be playing much on live. And i really cant judge a game by what is said in a magazine because a lot of times, in my opinion, they seem to be wrong in their reviews..but we'll see tomorrow..
