Man almost a week since we got this awesome game & yet we still can't download the Jason Skin & DLC Clothing pack as codes still don't work what is going on has PSN gotten lazy or something? Have yet to see an update on the status of the DLC as it shouldn't take the PSN a week or longer to get these working what gives...

Yeah, I don't see the comparison to No Man's Sky at all. F13th is exactly what I knew going in. What did they lie or be vague about?

The only thing I dislike about this game is the controls for running. I hate having to hold the left stick in and move it at the same time. My analog grip keeps sliding off.

First game got to be Jason and didn't kill anyone. Pretty embarrassing.

Played a few matches now got dropped from one. I think the game is a blast. I'm not really seeing any glitches.

I just read the Kotaku review and not surprisingly they **** all over it. Maybe it's because it's Friday the 13th, but I think the game is pretty good for a kickstarter project and a tiny dev team.

I've enjoyed watching streams of it, but I can understand their review too...It's not their job to care what size the dev team is....

Graphically there's some glitches and issues...but the game seems to be a great base and something to build off of. I can't really see how you'd give it more than a 7 at this point, with the hope of better as things grow.

I got shutout playing Jason last night too and yes it is very embarrassing.
It must have been all friends playing together because one group escaped in a car unbelievably fast and the others called the cops and made a well coordinated group escape.
This game is so damn fun.

I remember hearing after my first couple games that some people were saying Jason is overpowered and now that I've played for a while I can see they was just saying that because the first Jason you get can run. And although I did have a perfect game killing everyone, after that I went 1 for 7 and 3 for 8.

If you play smart and work together, most of you can easily escape. And if you get the right weapons like the machete or axe and use the flare gun and firecrackers you can keep Jason at bay for most of the match.

Hell, I had a game last night where 5 of the counselors were working together and they basically beat my *** like a pinata! lol. I got stunned so many times I lost count.

Yeah I hate that to actually. I'm used to my first person shooter games using that to run. I wish you could just tap a button but since X is your action button I see why they did it like that. Plus sometimes my guy just slows down even though I have a lot of stamina left.

No hope for those who thought the Savini Jason would be re-released. I am fine with them not releasing it again. Most of should have jumped on then. I just thought it was "skin" which is clearly not the case, but oh well. Cool of them to not cave.

We initially stated that our team would only offer the Tom Savini designed skin as a Kickstarter-only item to thank our earliest supporters. They would be the only ones to get the skin, and would get to have something exclusive for gameplay. Our thanks to them, and their way to show off a bit to others that they were there at the start.

Of course; we hit 12,000+ backers. Not all of them got that skin. Many opted for the cheaper options that got them the base-game, and many are now realizing that each tier lists rewards. Simply backing the game did not get you the skin. So we decided to take another route when Backerkit opened soon after the end of Kickstarter.

We offered the skin as a standalone product for backers at the pricepoint of $6USD. The same can also be said in all regards for the counselor clothing pack; they were a la carte items. You were given a menu in which to choose what you wanted, what they were to get for your level of backing, and when all was said and done we would deliver on those items.

We made that clear on Day 1 of the Backerkit that these two DLC were for backers; both Kickstarter and Backerkit. Kickstarter was a month of funding, while Backerkit lasted until the end of March 2017. We made multiple forum posts. We made multiple Facebook posts. We made multiple Twitter posts. We made multiple statements to our Backers, we posted to all current Backers on Kickstarter/Backerkit via updates and emails to ensure they had the right items they wanted and to ensure they bought for the correct platform. We showcased the skin as a teaser, we posted a teaser video, we had Tom Savini reveal his creation on our social channels with final warnings that this skin was not going to be sold after the conclusion of our backer campaign.

So here we are and here is where we are always going to stand; that skin and those clothing items are not for sale. They are not for secondary sale. They are for those that backed us and have been with us from the beginning. They are the people that took a chance on a campaign that has produced a game that is overall fun. Sure, we have issues that are being addressed at this time, but no amount of comments, complaints or insults or suggestions are going to bring that skin back. There was over a year and a half time for someone to feasibly learn about that content and purchase it for $6 or $9; you did not even need to buy the game is you did not wish too at the time.

This team stands firm that for those of you who missed out; sorry. You missed out. Our backers believed. They funded. They supported. This is our thanks to them with a skin that is in no way superior to the other versions of Jason present within the game. I am sorry for those that want it now, but you missed out. We did everything we could to ensure that the word got out through our channels, press and otherwise, but the answer remains the same; we will not sell them.

As a backer, I'm glad they aren't backing down and selling that skin now. I bought the Savini Jason and counselor clothing last June and got 2 more sets in March. I made multiple posts in this thread saying that people better get it if they want it including a post(s) on deadline day.

The backers made this game a reality. If someone was ignorant to the fact the game existed until now or was too cheap to buy it months ago - too bad.

Only problem I have is they keep calling it a skin, when it isn't just a skin. It's an actual playing character with perks mixed together that no other Jason's can have. Not sure why they just kept calling it a skin, if they would have made it known that it was more than just a skin more would have probably purchased it. I would have. I don't buy skins though. And a lot of us did back the game (I know I did back in September ) we purchased digital copies etc... we just didn't pay extra for a skin, which is more a skin. Yes, I am salty I didn't get it lol


I will live though and I am sure there will be other cool DLC coming. Game is a blast.

You mean the static?

I know it happens when Jason activates his Shift to move within a certain proximity of your counselor (don't know exactly what that distance is, though). It might also occur when he's using Morph (teleport) in the same proximity.

I'm 99% sure it's just for Shift. But it could be, as you said, also for Morph.
