Tales from the Borderlands (Early in the story, but this is one of Telltale's best efforts. Very good game.)

My top favorites for 2015 that I've played and completed were;

Until Dawn - Sleeper game of the year. Had me jumping out of my skin a few times during the story. Loved how Dr. Hill menaced me at times.

Life is Strange - Some gaming sites had this listed as GOTY. Max Caulfield was awesome. A very engaging character who you were pulling for.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War - What a wonderful story and the gameplay/puzzles were top notch. An Indie game that turned into a gem.

1. NBA 2k16: just amazing what this series has become. There's so much to do and the game plays great.

2. Mortal Kombat X: Instant classic fighting game. Plays so fluid and the graphics are beautiful. Online is pretty seamless too.

3. Rocket League: Just pure, simple fun. Affordable, addictive, and filled with close games. Always makes you play "just one more."

4. WWE 2k16: Possibly the best wrestling game ever made. A lot of depth, customization, options, and the in-ring game play is finally realistic and looks great.

Fallout 4, Rocket League, and NBA 2k16 are the only things that have held my interest up until now, so those would have to be my favorites.

Until Dawn was solid, but short. Bloodborne was alright for awhile, though not up to par with the other Souls games, and the Witcher and Metal Gear I am struggling to get into.

Odd year in gaming, with a lot of the blockbuster games falling short (IMO anyway). What I thought was going to be an epic year ended up being decent.

Honorable Mention
1) Madden 16 - Best Madden in decades. Pleasant surprise.
2) Life is Strange - Might be in my top 3, but I didn't love the final episode. Nevertheless, this game probably had the biggest emotional effect on me all year.
3) Destiny: The Taken King - I had given up on Destiny until I decided to give Taken King a shot. It has improved in so many ways since its initial release. Better quest system, better stability online, and a better story overall.

1. Cities Skylines. Wonderful city simulator, best ever in its genre imo. What made a very good game great though is the fantastic community support, the continued support from paradox makes this game a solid purchase.

2. GTA V(Xbox one). Even though it's not a new release, it's still the best game on Xbox one or PS4.

3. Fallout 4. This game has its problems, there's no denying it but it's also a absolute blast to play when everything is working. This game needs a few patches to be considered great but I'm still playing it almost every night.

It's been a down year for me and video games. Only two come to mind:

R6 Siege: This was a surpise for me. I wasn't expecting much, but I have a blast playing this game. It lacks content and features but the gameplay is currently scratching my tactical itch that hasn't been scratched on the consoles in a decade.

Rocket League: A great idea that was done perfectly. Reminds me of the old days of gaming when games were just "fun".

Batman arkham knight by far! Best game in the franchise and maybe the best video game ever made! Biggest surprise Madden 16 first good madden since 07 during ps2, gamecube, xbox era.
