I managed to limit my purchasing this year, finally sticking to the "every other year" for the major sports titles, and I have 75 games in my Steam library so...

Top 3 for what I did buy and play, plus one new-to-me:

1. OOTP 16: always a favorite when I dig in and the changes since my last purchase (12) are so rewarding.

2. NHL 16: solid gameplay and plenty to do as an offline gamer. HUT gave me over 75 games worth of offline fun, and I have a Bruins GM mode going now.

3. Project Cars: more enjoyable than I expected it to be, given that I don't have a wheel, but the customization features allowed me to dial in a good experience for me and I'm really enjoying it.

4. (pre-2015 but new to me) Europa Universalis IV is a nice step forward for the franchise and I'm glad I grabbed it on a Steam sale.

Honorable Mention: I played and enjoyed COD for a couple weeks then traded it in while it still had strong value, and have been playing Battlefront since. Both are good fun as online shooters but not overly remarkable to me.

Cities Skylines

Dragon Age Inquisition DLCs - Jaws of Hakkon, The Decent, Trespasser. Hands down the best DLC of any game since the Mass Effect 2 days.
