as a fan of tmnt in general eastman and laird...

i was REALLY looking forward to it. esp how platinum ending up redoing transformers i was hoping they learned form the mistake of that game being TOO short and not varied enough.

well that isnt the case i guess

all reviews and previews and playthru impressions say the same thing

    its short its repetitive

    and i say
    its a shame

I really don't know if I want to open this game or not. Maybe it will just stay as a backlog game until one rainy morning I open it up and beat the game before lunch.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

After reading these reviews, I wouldn't blame you one bit for just returning it. Sounds like a $10 nostalgia purchase at best.

        Disappointing to say the least.

I actually brought it with me today to work with the thought of returning it.

I love the TMNT, but I think I'll return it and wait a few months for the game to hit the bargain bin.

Man, that polygon review is brutal.

I couldn't bring myself to return it. I know that I've overpaid for it, but I'm afraid that for some reason if I return it and wait for it to hit the bargain bin, I'll never get it back. And while the reviews are bad, its still TMNT.

Makes me wonder if Platinum has two different studios. It's generally the same engine in the games, but the quality seems to vary for some reason.

It's available at Redbox. I might rent it in the next week or so.

They are 1 studio, but they have a few different teams within. Hideki Kamiya led development on Bayonetta, Wonderful 101, and now Scalebound. A different team handled Metal Gear Rising and Transformers: Devastation. Not sure if the same team who worked on Korra worked on TMNT, but those are their 2 worst games critically.

I thought it was kinda known this game wouldn't be something they gave much care to?

It's sad man, and when you talk about the gaming industry, it sucks that they blow opportunities like this when it can be capitalized on.

I paid 30.00 for it and don't regret it.
