How do you talk with people when you join a squad? Do you need to start a party? I thought it would automatically link up mics with other people in your 5 unit squad...

This game makes it so hard to play with friends. Half the time I can't join people from the regular main menu, half the time I can't connect to my friends server, and the THIRD half of the time I'm stuck in limbo on the wrong team because I can't switch to my friends side or even join a squad period. Hope this all gets addressed soon.

Dog hitting us with some of that Steiner math, haha.

But yeah, I agree. It can be a pain to join on friends. Some days it's fine, other days, it's like pulling teeth trying to squad up.

Sorry it was all glitchy for you tonight Jon, bad ones happen once in a while. But at least ya got on for a bit eventually.

Another plus was that our two squads weren't breaking up this time around after a round ended. Wish our chat could hold 10 and not just 8 so we'd have 2 full squads in the chat.

I love the MP gameplay but the menus/loading times and design (zooming in and out after deaths) is criminal

I'll take the current load times over BF4 launch MP issues. It's actually kind of nice between matches considering how long it takes to play a round of Conquest. It gives my fingers and eyes a minute to rest. For Shooter MP.. this launch has been smooth in comparison to many other games.


The menus do suck, but I wouldn't have even given it much thought if I didn't see it posted here. They are easy enough for me to navigate.

Yeah it's definitely not all the time. Probably only four halves of the time. But it's really frustrating when it happens.

I am really having a hard time adjusting to BF, but I'm determined to get better. I linked up with w few OSers last night and look forward to playing with them.

Anyhow- A few questions..

1. How should I best utilize the mini-map? What should I be lookinh for..

2. I'm only a level 2, and I'm using the entry level guns, but it seems to take a ton of shots to kill people (using primarily assault class). Is this due to the guns being weak at the beginning?

3. When playing conquest- What is the best way to get across the map? Should I hop in a vehicle? I get killed A LOT going from point to point in conquest.

4. What is the best way to handle enemy tanks? I feel completely useless I'm defending a flag and a tank pulls up.(Assauly class). How should I best handle these situations...

5. When playing as a medic, how do I revive? I couldn't figure it out last night.

Just keep playing. The minimap shows you where enemies are if they are spotted, and also shows the flags to cap (which are also located on the top of the screen).

It's best to traverse far distances in a vehicle with a squad mate, for extra protection.
As a medic, you need to use the syringe to revive a player. It's a gadget that you need to equip.

Each gun has stats, and the starting ones are arguably the best. Just keep practicing, you're only level 2. You'll get the hang of it pretty soon.

Snipers don't kill in 1 shot unless the player is already low on health.

Check your facts bro. Theres numerous snipers that kill in 1 shot depending on the distance. I think its between 80 and 120 meters

well i just figured out last night how to change the fire modes altho on the first medic gun it keeps setting back to single shot which is extremely weird

I actually had a fun conquest match i played last night which is surprising for me.

This game play VERY smooth unlike the BF4 launch. I'm still having a problem with gun selection though not digging that at all but maybe that will change as i rank higher but for me it seems a little stale

still havent played enough to give a full judgement. Maps so far seem pretty weird i just wish they had a nice mostly indoor map like locker or metro.
That forest map seems like a exact rip off of the SWBF Ewok map i played to death.

Overall i am happy with the game i just dont know if it will hold my interest as long as BF3/4.

I still think i just need to find the right gun that suits me to fully enjoy it and man do the horses die except when i get on one lol?

I tried editing my load outs with the app and it resets every single time. Ugh.

FYI I haven't had any issues since I stopped using the app. However there was an update earlier this week so it's possible it got fixed there as well.

My numbers suck but I had a good time. Really good game!
