Friday release seems so weird to me...I always thought big titles came out on Tuesday.

I want to but the game now so badly but I'm broke as a convict; I think I may bite the bullet next week.

My rankings dropped as well. My medic was a 10 and now is like 8.5 and I am pretty sure I was close to being an 8 on Assault, now I am a 5.

What is the reasoning? So now we lose guns we unlocked based on rank and haven't bought yet? We need to rank up again to unlock them?

I really pray the DICE devs don't read anything from the Battlelog forums. I went over there for a few minutes to read about the patch, and I'm close to having convulsions.

They want everything patched, and everything sucks. If they patch in everyone being spotted for shooting on the mini-map I would be very upset.

Hopefully all the people on Battlelog forums are wrong about the graphics downgrade. I love everything about the game so far, and am nervous for things to start changing.

If they do that then I'll be done with the game. I think it's great that you aren't spotted just by firing your weapon.

As for people dropping in class rank I think people were leveling up too fast so they changed it.

On the PC anyway, medics revive quite fast and on a regular basis.

I relied on watching the minimap so much in BF4 that I thought I would hate the change, but after a few rounds I fell in love with it.

You don't have to run away after you get a kill just because you know you're on the map for everyone to see. Definitely adds more strategy, but I'm afraid if enough people complain about it, they will change it back.

Don't go look on the battlelog forums. You'll think you're playing a different game than them.

I think since it doesn't show you on the mini map when you fire your weapon it adds some skill. You just can't look at the mini map for enemies.

Jumped into the multiplayer for the first time today.

One of the first things I can say: it's nice to enjoy the medic class again. They addressed the issues from the beta, for sure. You still get the occasional person that won't give you the time to revive, but outside of that, everything seems greatly improved. I got so used to using the longer-range scout rifles in the beta that I'm trying to engage at too long of distances with the Rigotti. It's not working out too well.

Operations is neat, though I wish there was a way to choose when you jumped in. I'd prefer to start at the beginning and not land in the middle when my team is already about to lose.

The one oddity is after playing rush almost exclusively with BF4, I'm doing a lot more conquest now.

Played for a couple hours this afternoon and it was extremely laggy. Boarderline unplayable at times. I'm not sure if it's due to the update or just an off day. I had no issues with the game since I got it on Friday.

I'm loving the game but I really, really need to squad up with OS members. I can't take another game with random people not communicating, not playing the objectives, not playing their support roles (dishing out ammo and health packs), and running solo not supporting their squad. This game is brilliant when played correctly. It's unplayable madness if you don't play with a good squad.

Also, nothing drives me more mad than joining a game and being locked out of a squad because people are solo in a squad and have it locked. I had one game with two players in that type of squad.

I was on twitter today & made mention of having a customize loadout put in at the main menu. Someone responded saying I didn't make sense. Are people really that dense nowadays or just plain stupid.
