Disappointed the route BF1 is taking with regard to DLC.

I was hoping the maps would be free, so it wouldn't separate the community, while any weapons/skins/extra stuff would be DLC or just micro transactions.

Ehh...I guess because BF1 will be SO massive with regard to sales, it's probably a no-brainer from EA's side.

They know it's gonna be best FPS of this generation. What is the DLC route they're taking? I didn't even read up on it

Probably the same DLC route they've taken since BF3, if I had to guess.

Best Sandbox FPS for sure. So much you can do with what they give

Had a great sesh with Jnes, Bolt, and Rez tonight in Hardline. Went into Gamestop today and paid off the Early Enlister Edition. Pretty much just a month out, feel great about it

This should make more people play as the Medic class. Also I hope they don't nerf the light tank. The only thing I think needed to be done with the light tank is to lower the armor on it.

Sounds like they will make some nice adjustments with the final. Thank god about the horse, emptying a clip into it during the beta was fustrating only to see it reach you or escape.

With the changes they are making to Conquest I hope they increase the tickets because now teams will reach 300 tickets a lot faster.

Well, first off I’d like to talk to you about the Conquest game mode. When we build a new Battlefield game it’s important for us to try new things, we want to stay fresh and renew the franchise with each new installment. However, it’s equally as important that we take the feedback that you, the community, are giving us. That is why we're going to be making changes to the Conquest game mode ticket system for launch. The next time you play the game, capturing the objectives AND getting kills will both contribute towards the final score of a Conquest match. You have spoken, we have listened!

The Light Tank, which is a bit too effective in the Open Beta, will definitely receive some work, and we agree that Horses can take a few too many rounds at the moment. We've also learned through the Beta that you guys need more tools to deal with vehicles earlier, which we'll definitely look into (including a Gadget for the Support class which should help neutralize powerful vehicles).
I hope you all had a great time playing the Battlefield 1 Open Beta, and I can’t wait for October 21st to come around so you'll be able to see everything else the game has to offer. Who knows, maybe you’ll find yourself on my Squad in Battlefield 1.

Looks like the Conquest point system will be extended in order to keep a good balance and also they aren't going back to the old Conquest. It's going to be a mix of the old and new. Also found this that goes over what tweaks and fixes the Medic class will be getting.

Making kills count is a smart move. I'm ok with a combo of the two, but I'm def glad they're making kills have some value because (being selfish admittedly here) it's what I'm best at.
