Anyone buy the edition that comes with premium pass? Was thinking about getting it .....

Only thing is when it comes to Battlefield it feels like the new maps and such turn into a ghost town very quickly. I could be wrong since I have bought the season pass well after the fact.

    Opinions?

I'm still trying to decide between the Ultimate edition or the Early Enlister edition. I'm leaning towards the Ultimate edition since it comes with the season pass. In BF4 it didn't seem like there was a lot of servers running the DLC but I managed to get into a game just about every time.

I went early enlister really early months ago, and then go the premium pass separately..

Does it save you any money buying the Ultimate edition or would it be the same price buy the pass separate

It will be the same price no matter which way you go. The Ultimate edition is $130. If you get the Early Enlister edition that's $80 and Premium is $50. So that comes out to $130.

Only way you will save money is if you just get the regular edition of BF1 and then buy Premium.

              Thanks

Seems like a few bucks may be saved if you have EA access then you save the 10% on the $130 edition

              Hmmmm

Decided to go with the Ultimate edition and pre-ordered it today on PSN. After I pre-ordered it though it said 'select a version' did this happen to anyone else? It seemed a little weird that it did that after I pre-ordered it. Also looks like we will be able to preload the game on the 11th so I'm guessing anyone that gets the Ultimate edition will be able to play on the 18th. I was a little worried about it since I backed out and seen that the Early enlister edition was still able to be purchased for $20.

I know on the PS4 there were always servers running the DLC for a good while and even to this day. I can't speak to the Xbox One version or PC but I got the Ultimate Edition on the XB1 this time I'm around and I'm curious/anxious to see if there are servers running DLC maps well after release.

Was over of the Battlefield 1 forum and came across this to a question.

"anyone think they'll include the multiple loadout system from hardline?"

Short answer, yes you will be able to save up to 3 loadouts per class.

"it would be useless because there is no stat changing attachments. the presets are your loadouts"

Well, not quite so since you have the option to further customize the preset packages. The "deep customization" might not change the basic stats of the package but will affect the handling and visual aspects in certain ways. So, nice to be able to save these changes.

Well Battlefront and Hardline are bad examples. Not the norm imo. I actually liked Hardline and yes, the premium maps dried up quick. So disappointing. I retired it long time ago. Still have BF4 and enjoy it when I do have time to play.

                          Again, that's just me.

I totally get your point tho.
I've done worse than that before. Its just a game to me. Its not like its a sim experience. If im not having fun then I will stop playing, otherwise don't care. I do see what you are saying though. And its okay to judge, people do it anyways.

As others have said, it is a testament to how great the Battlefield games' core mechanics are that each installment can appeal to so many gamers and have such long-lasting fanbases/populations.

If it was just about K/D then it would definitely alienate a portion of gamers who otherwise would be having a great time contributing to their team in any way possible.

If you play with Rez and Bolt you will know where Bolt is coming from as those guys routinely put up 50+ kills a match while aggressively playing the objectives. It is crazy. I consider myself halfway decent but I never get close to those guys. That being said, whether I go 28-10 or 10-28, I always have a good time trying to throw heals out and revive teammates and whatnot.
