Yes. The Hellriegel 1915 is the best gun in the game period. It's also the last gun you will unlock. But once you unlock it I am pretty sure you will enjoy it. It has good accuracy from any distance and has low recoil.

The only time I would use a different weapon for assault over the Hellriegel is on maps that have a lot of close quarter areas for firefights.

Then I go with the Automatico Storm. I love that thing because of the fire rate, it melts enemies fast. And if you're a stable shot, it's good at mid and decent at long range (well reasonably long range, not medic or scout long range).

They're definitely very different BF games. There's very little in common with how these two games look & feel.

This BF (BF1) feels closer to SW Battlefront (minus the 3rd person view for soldiers) than it does to BF4.

It's a very fun game but it def isn't the BF game I expected initially.

Hip firing is so important in this game just like SWBF imo.

i need to revisit that game i had some fun with that game just didnt last

Before the first patch it was easy to unlock all the weapons. I believe now it requires you to play a lot longer to get to the last weapon. I do think the assault class is a good class though.

Same for me. Kind of have to force myself through the level grind just to unlock that gun. End up giving in sometimes though and going back to medic for a bit. Only very close to lvl 4

Sweeper is best all around gun
Automatico Extended is underrated.

Hellriegel is up there but its not best all around gun. It has it's flaws like weak range and lack of ammo capacity.

You are correct. That is my opinion. It does have some factual backing though. For instance, if you face multiple enemies the Hellriegel will enable you to engage them without any reloading. The Sweeper will not. I have used the Sweeper. You have to reload it every time you kill an enemy. The Hellriegel has a big enough clip for you to get through three enemies without reloading if you are fairly accurate. The Hellriegel has a higher firing rate which is much more desirable in close range, and is also better in terms of hip accuracy. Keep in mind though I am only trying to consolidate my claim that the Hellriegel is the best overall weapon.

I do agree that the overall capacity of the weapon is not the best. Let's face it though, how often does a soldier survive the entire ammo capacity of a weapon? Very rarely, especially if you are constantly moving around and directly engaging enemies.

I disagree with you about the weak range claim. I think at this point though we would probably have to get more specific. I will say this though, if you let a group of players armed with the Hellriegel fight another group of players fighting with the Sweeper, in most instances the Hellriegel group will win. I rest my case.

Hellreigel runs out of bullets too quickly imo. Nice gun for multiple kills with one magazine but I prefer the automatico or mp18

Well it depends on your playstyle and accuracy. It's a bit subjective because rez gets the most bang for his buck with the Hellriegel. He's crazy aggressive and kills multiple guys out in the open every time before he eventually gets got.

The Hellriegel is amazing, but 120 total rounds is its only flaw. However we almost always play within a squad of friends. Having said that we'll make sure we're using all classes so if we have a support running with us, sometimes two then the ammo issue on the Hellriegel becomes a non issue.

Worse comes to worse with ammo, in this game it's an incredibly easy solution. Pick up the weapon loadout off of the many dead noobs lying around.

Hellriegel is my 2nd favorite weapon so I'm not gonna engage in this conversation because I do like it for range right outside of shotgun range. If this gun was in medic class than I would like it more lol. I'm also very aggressive which is why i love medic. I can kill 3 to 4 people in 1 clip reload and heal up quick and keep going. It is harder to do with assault since you have to chill out for a second longer in order to heal naturally.

That's true. It does take longer to heal naturally without the constant resupply of medic packs. It also sounds like you are a pretty amazing player.

I love online fps because it requires smarts, skills, strategies, etc.
