Sounds like the biggest issue with you two is TTK.

I'd suggest trying 'hardcore', but remember it's a double edged sword and goes both ways. Have fun & good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't played in a few weeks but I couldn't find any hardcore servers for some reason, but I'll hop on today and see if there are any

I'm mainly just a sniper so I know those since I have them all unlocked. You can't go wrong with any of them but the Gewher 98 is my favorite one despite its glare. The Russian 1895 is also good. I haven't used it in awhile because I'm lazy and don't switch weapons. BF Tracker says I'm Top 1% in kills with it so the G98 may be special if it has my trashy self in the top 1% of anything :-)

Hardcore domination on Sinai Desert is so damn insane. That sand storm makes it SO intense. It's my favorite part of the game right now.

I loved BF4 and put hundreds of hours into it.

They're definitely very different BF games. There's very little in common with how these two games look & feel.

This BF (BF1) feels closer to SW Battlefront (minus the 3rd person view for soldiers) than it does to BF4.

It's a very fun game but it def isn't the BF game I expected initially.

The weapon I like best for medic is the M1907 SL Sweeper. Not sure what level these people are but I do see lots of Cei Rigotti and Mondragon users also.

By the way, anyone have any recommendations for a good weapon for the Assualt class?

Yes. The Hellriegel 1915 is the best gun in the game period. It's also the last gun you will unlock. But once you unlock it I am pretty sure you will enjoy it. It has good accuracy from any distance and has low recoil.

Agree. I don't own this gun but know of its power, as I've been capped countless times by people using this weapon!
