Small collection of highlights I've saved.. if you have some time to killl.
I have some better stuff somewhere, but I was too tired to fish it out last night.

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
I deplore snipers. I realize there is a lot of skill involved but 90% of them are cowards that find a hiding spot and wait for people to come to them. And the maps are so overpopulated with them. Really wish there was some sort of limit as to how many there can be on each map.

Sooo much better with 40 people. For one thing, you aren't picked off by a sniper every time you try to move around on the battlefield. I wish they had 40 player Conquest as well.

All the previous BFs had CQL and CQS so I'm sure (hopefully) they'll implement it eventually.Comment

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
This is exactly why I stay away from online games. Have not been able to play for two days now. Checked the Battlefield website and rumors are the are under DDOS attack.
Users are reporting that they're unable to connect to Battlefield 1 servers at the moment, with EA issuing a statement saying they're investigating.
Never again, I swear this is the last time I talk myself into one of these games. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

ALL of the shotguns that have the range of sniper rifles (exaggerating a bit), need to be nerfed.

The attack they experienced on release was even aimed at Battlefield. It was aimed at DNS provider Dyn who is a provider to major services like Amazon, Twitter, Netflix, Spotify, Playstation, EA, etc, etc.. There was hundreds if not thousands affected by that.
If you're going to stay away from online gaming because of its vulnerability to DDoS attacks, then surely you should just stay away from being online in any way, shape, or form completely?
TL;DR - Don't get frustrated with EA or online gaming. DDoS attacks are not very complicated to carry out. The resources are readily available online.Comment

That is being a bit narrow minded. Literally any website/service could experience a DDoS attack at any time.
