I prefer BF1's "netcode" as well.


I've played from Japan since 2014 and with BF4, I could hardly play with anyone in the US without complaining about issues, but with BF1 it's not a problem regardless of the server I'm playing on.. Japanese or US.


Hardline was pretty good as well IMO.

Chase..I loved Hardline. It was cool not having to worry about vehicles really. I think vehicles aren't too much of a nuisance in BF1. In BF4 you could dominate with vehicles. Remember Golmud Railway (my favorite map probably), and how they let you have like 4 tanks and if had a good group of vehicle players you could dominate. It was almost indefensible. But man talking about BF4 is really making me miss it, I enjoyed the heck out of that game.

Yeah for horses not soldiers. Horses are that way because if they died as fast as soldiers do they would be huge target that are easily killed and on top of that would be worthless because of that

I still don't get your point of bullet sponges. Guns literally kill in 2-4 bullets in this game

What are you wanting them to be? 1-2 bullets. You won't answer that. Its fine if you feel that way but explain what you are wanting it to be

You keep saying bullet sponge over and over but have yet to explain what would make it better unless I missed it. I'm at work so I've been just reading through these post real fast which is why I brought up Rainbow six as I seen it mentioned

Well that depends. If I'm two feet from ya, ya 1-2 shots should do it. If I'm at some kind of distance than I think that should vary based on what weapon ya have. We keep tossing around rainbow six and yea that's the other extreme. Let me lay out the way I think of video game shooter realism....I know, it's silly but look at it like this....rainbow 6 is a 10 for realism and halo is a 0, most games falling between those two....I've always felt that battlefield, is closer to a 6-7, between bullet drop and the way guys went down, and the Damage vehicles had. But I feel the power of guns in Bf 1 makes this game feel like a 4. I don't know, it's a silly analogy I guess, juSt trying to explain what I'm thinking. I like the game, I play it quite a bit, and I know developers are in a tough place trying to please you, me and everyone else, but I think this game falls behind some of DICE's other offers from the past.

I found a good hardcore server the other night where damage is 200% but everything else is standard; spotting, mini map, etc is all normal.

I took about a month break from BF1, but playing over the weekend has renewed my love for this game. Especially since the Winter update sounds promising, even though we don't have any patch notes.

Full disclosure from my previous posts: my gripes never made me hate this game. I've always enjoyed it, as I have every other BF. Those are changes I just thought would make the game more enjoyable for me.

And to answer Swamp, the reason I feel so strongly about my views is because the HC servers are so limited it's not always easy to find those that aren't full or empty.

Are they ever gonna fix glitch with mg 15 suppression machine gun???

It sucks when u get into a gun fight and it locks up after 2 shots ....And also it freezes all together after being killed and brought back to life ...So u have switch weapons to get it to work.

Also sometimes the scope doesn't pop up so if u running in field and u try use it to spot enemy...There's nothing on top of gun.

Not sure if any other weapons lock up or glitch out but can be a pain esp if u get into a gun fight.
