picked up premium for 20 bucks. loving the new maps and forgot how fun bf can be. Only issue is many of the servers were dead, I had a hard time finding a quality match! Is the community a bit thin now-a-days?

I've noticed less people playing on the tsar expansion maps, but I've been playing late at night too. But a couple weeks ago or prior to that there were enough people playing on those maps. I wonder if the new cod ww2 has anything to do with less people on the tsar expansion maps.

well I bought that too and don't really play it so... there's probably a lot of others like me. The game has improved since I stopped playing a while ago I noticed too. Overall I'm really having fun with it again. The infantry focus of the newer maps may put some off, but it's great for getting a lot of action and still being strategic.

It's a shame because the new maps are usually always good, but EA and their want for money (premium) just splits the player base way too much nowadays.

BF will always be a good, fun multiplayer game, but I've learned my lesson after buying premium on BF3, BF4 (twice) and Hardline.

Don't get me wrong, got my money's worth, until Hardline. Now it's just too much $ to ask just to play new maps. Vanilla will always have more players these days.

Oh for sure the value is there. Wasn't knocking you or anyone buying it.

Personally I've become fed up with EA. What used to be $100 from my pocket to theirs, game+premium at launch, went to buying the game as cheaply as I could lol.

Regardless, it's still a shame how divided the player base has become. Even though you got premium at a great deal it's hard to take advantage of it.

Agree. And the Volga River city map is AWESOME.

The entire Russia expansion is worth the coin, much more so than the middling French expansion.

I've played another 8 hours or so mp and I think there is a map or two I haven't even played yet! There's just a ton of content!

The more I play the more fair it seems as well vs other shooters. I don't feel cheated and the controls are responsive and hits are satisfying. I feel like the 2nd wind on this game will keep me playing into the spring.

It's really fun, actually. Loving the concept and team play required. May just get me back into BF1

I've heard the rumors that this is true, however it wont be released until 2020. For next years cycle we will be getting BF ww2 instead. Dice LA is working on one and Dice Switzerland is working on the other.
