If it's more like Hardline, that's a bit concerning. BF4 was way better than Hardline.

Yes. You choose between Bombers or fighter when you spawn into a plane...

Three rounds of conquest so far. It is definitely closer to Battlefront than BF4, IMHO (with a little Hardline mixed in). I was worried about the pacing moving more towards a twitch shooter and to some degree I'd say it has, which is not all that appealing personally, but the foundation is very much like Battlefield nonetheless. I didn't enjoy Hardline multiplayer much but I am liking the little I've played so far of this. I just wish it was closer to BF3 than the later releases.

As a medic I can say finding people to revive is a bit of a pain; the on-screen indicator only seems to appear when it feels like (could be a beta glitch).

This map is pretty open but I haven't seen all that many snipers. Small sample size, I suppose. You can still spot people so it doesn't take long, if you do see one, for some help to converge on the target. The rounds I played people were playing the objective, though, so maybe I got a bit lucky.

Bold= My thought's exactly of the series since BC2...

I did enjoy Hardline though, and I'm hoping the WWI setting/weapons invoke that feeling of 'war'.

This feels more like BC2 than either of 3 or 4 to me. I loved BC2 (and Vietnam) but not 3 or 4. I do hate playing with randoms though (how do you capture c and d but none of the others?!?) if anyone wants to play later on, I'm game.

As a pure BF shooter it is, and by quite a bit. There's just simply more to BF4 though.

Me and Rez prefer BFH by quite a margin.

BF1 is soooo slow paced, map is ridiculously large. Getting places (caps) takes years (yay bayonet charge?).

It is definitely a noob friendly game (lots of OSers will love that, don't front).

Whoever said it's basically battlefront in Battlefield clothing is spot on. Not exactly my taste, but it is a new BF game so I'm in.

But I can dominate much more easily in BF4 or BFH. I guess I'll need to see the other maps & weapons eventually, before I judge it so harshly.

Yea there's planes in beta.

I had read a lot about it being like Hardline (was hoping) but I just don't see it. More like battlefront and that makes me sad face.

I don't mind large maps and if I had to choose, I'd rather it be noob friendly. My favorite shooter of this generation is Plants vs. Zombies. i get pwned by 6 year olds, but sometimes I just want to sit down and shoot stuff instead of planning my attack for 30 minutes or getting mowed down by someone who has time to master everything about the game. I'm old enough to admit I like casual gameplay when it's done fairly.
