I agree with what Bolt said about horses. Just went on a nice kill spree

On PC it looks good and runs great. 90+ FPS on ultra with a 780ti

Interesting you focus on one angle. Seems like both sides are having problems accepting the others opinion for some reason

Glad you like it though. I hope it is a great game.

Different strokes for different folks, nobody is wrong.
This was after dude said he liked it and was having fun. I don't know why people feel the need to have to tell other people that its OK to like the game.

What does the "common theme" have to do with his opinion? And "in fairness" , what does that mean? That because 10 other people said they didn't like it, he being the first means it's not valid? I don't get it.

There are positive posts, responding to the negative posts, saying things like "how can ANYONE say this" or "no idea why anyone would say that," making it sound like the view is weird or unjustified.

There were some negative impressions posted that basically shared the same sentiment, and a post was made with a positive impression that also said something along he lines of "no idea how anyone could say that about the game."

I was responding to that. The post I responded to said a lot more that just "this is fun." You can't try to invalidate the views of others just because you have a different opinion. It was almost as if he was criticizing those who had a negative opinion.

There is another post on this page saying people who don't like the game need to "CHILL FAM." The guys who dont like he beta seem as chill as can be. I see the other side up in arms.

You really seem to have a problem with anyone not liking the beta.

            I don't get it. "Dude."
Yea but if you actually read what I wrote, you'd realize that everything you just said is nothing at all what I said.

It doesn't matter to me how many people don't like it or why, I'll make my own decision. Its why the people who DO like it, get told by people like you that "its OK to like it, but you're wrong because the common theme is nobody likes it. In fairness".

                You too ,sir.

You've made more judgments on the beta throughout the day I think than anyone here, and they were all based off other peoples impression's, since you didn't even start playing until tonight. And all you did was side withe negative and tell people who made positive judgements that they're wrong.

If I misunderstood then you did a horrible job articulating your point.

Am getting my butt kicked so far but I think the map has some potential to be pretty awesome. I like to stay in the middle/village area as I am more of a close-quarters guy. Seems like medics might not be having the most fun time in the beta, respawn timer is super fast and I think you only pop up on a medics screen if you request help.

                  I really dig the horse.

Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)

Something is off with the right stick sensitivity. I threw in battlefield 4 to make sure it wasn't my sticks but it's fine there. The horizontal aiming sensitivity is real slow for me, but vertical is a lot faster. If I turn up the sensitivity to make horizontal comfortable, vertical and diagonal is just insanely fast.

Just tested with battlefield 4 and dying light and all directions are the same speed on my controller

A gaming moment that I will remember...... Chopping up a guy while on horseback lol.

As a BF4 guy, I do like this the more I play. Few issues with frame rate and bullet drop, but all in all love the game play. Wish we had more options as far as maps for the beta, but I ain't complaining

This game looks gorgeous on my PC. Running at 1080p, Ultra settings with the rendering at 55%. Getting anywhere from 100-130 frames per second depending on what's going on.

Overall I'm liking the beta. I agree with the Battlefront comments. The game looks and feels like Battlefront, none of which turns me off. The game and mechanics feel smooth, gun play is good and the sound are absolutely top notch. Progression is disabled currently so I can't comment on guns or upgrades. I heard one guy in game say that upgrades go live tomorrow when the masses get the beta. EDIT: I figured out how to customize gear so scratch that thought!

                          PROS:

+ Graphics (at least on my PC) are very impressive.
+ Sounds are absolutely incredible. Everything from guns to vehicles to subtle things like footsteps and movement are well done.
+ The map included in the beta is very well thought out and I love how well it flows.
+ Vehicles and turrets feel great and make me feel as if I'm in a WWI battle.
+ The destruction of buildings is superior to BF4 IMHO. The battlefield really does change over time.

                          CONS:

                          - Recoil is a little to be desired. Most guns seem to not have much.
                          - Hip fire is a bit ridiculous. Most of the time at close range I'll just hip fire, it's accurate so no point in ADS.
                          - A lot of one hit sniper kills from medium range, ADS time with scope seems quick leading to deaths like this.
                          - Quick menu system (holding down Q on PC) is very clunky and unintuitive. You hold the button down, click another option and then click another option. If I need a medic I have to stop, hold Q, click the option, then click the medic option. I wish you could use quick keys or something.
                          - The Support class seems very useless at this moment in time. Yes their purpose it lay down supressive fire but not once did I feel the need to do so. It's gadgets are also very useless, ammo refill is the only useful perk. I used the class for two games and haven't used it since. Maybe once progression is unlocked support will be better.
                          - Maybe it's just the map but Rush in this game is poor. I'm a HUGE Rush fan but in BF1 it's lacking.

That's all I can think of for now. When I get more play time, I'll quote this post and update it!

I dunno why but running over people with the horse is like my favorite thing ever. I can definitely see some fun times being had in this game with a group of fellas in a party chat. Really looking forward to seeing everything it offers at release

beta is underwhelming, definitely feels more of a battlefront game than it does a battlefield game. I think it has a lot to do with the map they chose, I don't like it at all and feels like it was recycled from that one map in battlefront. it'll still be a day one purchase for me as an avid BF fan but it definitely doesn't give me what BF4 gives me. I guess this is just the new generation of BF games
