I used to run strictly medic but I have a feeling the support class is gonna be huge in the full game.

All of the guns that said 'available in full release' are still unavailable after today's patch - so there is still a lot we are missing.
I have enjoyed support so far as well. Tried all the classes for a decent amount and had my best results with assault and support.

I am bad with remembering names of things. The starting gun for support worked well for me.

I wonder what loadout the studs are going with so far

      Nice, that's good to know!

Yea I've been doing the same, cycling classes. Trying my best to switch depending on the situation at that particular time.

On the Assault class, its gratifying as hell taking out tanks or unsuspecting infantry with dynamite 🙌

I consider myself a halfway decent FPS gamer but for some reason I have always been terrible at sniping. I am gonna keep trying to get better at it.

I have seen videos of guys just dominating and I envy those skills

I wish they would up the effects suppression a bit. I know a lot of people are against the how suppression was done in BF3, especially early on before they toned it down. I really loved it, even if it was a huge PITA when you were being suppressed.

This game is not going for full realism, I get that. But snipers should have a harder time aiming and shooting while being shot at by an LMG.

And while playing support and suppressing is not the sexiest of options, it is actually satisfying laying down fire while your squad advances to an objective. Even if you don't get many points for it.

Thought I would give flying a chance but I'm just not good at it. When I play tomorrow I'm going to write down my settings so when the game launches I can plug them in instead of having to test it out again.
Yeah thats a good idea. I liked how with Overwatch the settings profile from beta carried over to retail.

I keep going back to support because I like being able to resupply squad with ammo, and I like to just lay hate on people with the larger magazine MG's.

I like to sit up in buildings and just rain bullets down on the flags.

Yeah that ammo resupply has saved my butt a few times.

There's a nice mix of guns too. You get the guns with the huge barrel drums with tons of rounds or the M1909 Benét-Mercié with the smaller, horizontal clip.

The M1909 may be my favorite weapon in the beta.

I was surpressed last night sniping a few times and couldn't hit anything, it goes all wonky and vision is obscured and it's way harder to aim - needless to say I died shortly thereafter.

And I'll go back on what I said about sniping earlier and how many people do it - last night was the most I've seen in any game ever - was crazy, I guess it's kind of luck of the draw since up until then it was between 5-10 per team per match, last night was like 20.

Good to know. I guess I didn't really noticed and assumed that it just wasn't that impactful. Felt like anytime I suppress a sniper they'd just duck behind cover, pop out and hit me as if the suppression did nothing.

Battlefield 1 already looks good on PS4. Can't wait to see how it looks on PS4 Pro since EA will be supporting it.

If I'm spawning in the heavily congested center caps I go assault every time. If I spawn on the outskirts and I need range then I go medic for the dmr.

If I'm spawning near enemy armor then regardless of location on the map I'm going assault every time. They've got the tank busting loadout.

It sounds like the PS4 version is getting a "Pro Mode" which I'm guessing includes HDR, I wonder what the chances are of the Xbox version getting HDR too.

Dice has completely missed the boat on weapons and warfare in this game. I can't wait for Battlefield Civil War. Everyone will be running full speed with handheld Gatling Guns and Billinghurst Requa Batteries.

Honestly, this is a World War Two game. I have no idea why they decided to go full blown fantasy with World War One. I don't think anybody would have been judgemental on having a new WW2 game. BF1 is a baffling mixture of historical inaccuracies for the sake of run and gun gameplay for millennials. Not saying it's not fun, but it could have been so much more than this.
