Oh I get that. But I was looking forward to new maps, new army and new weapons...to have to unlock the new guns was kinda disappointing. Especially with weapons I've already got 100 kills with for the combat star.

I can see how some wouldn't like it for sure

How are the DLC maps? Are they the same type of layout like the original maps during launch? Some one should take pics of the maps when playing.

The verdun map is pretty cool....everything is on fire, embers drifting thought your view but not impedingly so.....horrifically beautiful. The maps are really well balanced. None of them feel super open to be sniper feats, have a good mix of cover, trenches and I think their better than the oringial maps....could also just be the freshness of them coloring my opinion.

So I didn't get premium. I will just have to wait two weeks or only premium gets the DLC? If I buy premium now can I download the DLC?

Pretty sure you can buy the Season Pass a la cart as well and get the DLC right now.

Maps are nice and unlocking the guns is very easy. Actually seems easier than many unlock requirements for weapons in BF4. Some of those were work lol.

I suck using the guns I never use. That telescopic support gun...my goodness I hit like 5% of my rounds.

I'm so pathetic and so many times I had the jump in somebody only to spray their silhouette and hit them like 20 health...the I get merked

It's happened to me with that new lmg (the non telescopic one), it seems like it hits off from its sight (to the left). Only 20 rounds but hits hard.


Edit : seems like the Verdun Heights map has no vehicles in conquest.

There really isn't much to discover with these maps. It's straight forward, limited vehicle, mostly close quarters warfare and it's a lot of fun. I've had some chugging issues with my launch PS4 once or twice, but other than that it's running as smooth as ever for me.

I think if it's mixed into the usual playlist it will help a lot. After a round or two of these maps get a bit tiring and boring. I'm sure Rez, being the killing machine he is, is going to love some of these maps.

I've been trolling around with a Shotgun trying to get the new weapons unlocked and I've manged to unlock 1/2 Assault Weapons (the shotgun) and both medic weapons. It's not too much of a challenge, but for someone like me who hates shotguns it can be a pain.

I also noticed most of the games I play (about 7 total) were pretty evenly matches and had close finishes.. I'm thinking that's because most people who play the PTFO and enjoy Battlefield would buy the Premium and have early access, but who knows..



I'm hoping the Fiance sees the PS4 Pro I added to my Amazon wishlist..

I agree about the new maps played them few times got and they get boring and can be a sniping nightmare.

I just finally unlocked one guns for support haven't had chance to try out yet but from what I heard it's only 20 rounds and shoots off target...and dosent do much more damage then the suppressive 15 machine gun I use now.
