Yeah, I'd say this SP is much better than anything BF has put out SP wise in awhile. This game is top notch.

Had the most frustrating moment of my BF career:

I'm in a behometh (boat) and the driver won't move it forward. I was raging lol. He sat there the entire time without moving it.

I do not know what it is about this game but am bored of it already. I love so much of it but something is missing. I just do not like the old weapons, i love the maps and graphics and gameplay but hate the old weapons and look of the characters...I have not played in 2 days and have no urge to fire it up

Been there. I had fun bombarding the only flag that was in anger of the boat. Unfortunately we had captured and held it most of the game so I wasn't doing anything other than making art on the ground.

The bullet sponge has got to be fixed. I laid an automatic assault gun into a dude running at me with his knife and hit him straight in the throat like 7 times and his body was shivering but his knife animation go to me and killed me. Completely pissed me off that an animation is more important to DICE then laying 6 to 7 bullets to a throat and having the power to drag a knife into me and then run away...I mean come on

What is so good about hardcore? I'd rather shoot someone 3-5 times to kill him then 1 or 2 shots. It takes more skill to stay on target instead of spray in that area and get couple lucky shots and a kill.

Probably a lot more campers in hardcore too.

PS I never played hardcore in bf so basically assuming how it will be.

You're in the ballpark on your assumptions. Hardcore players would say it's for more reasons than that.

I've never been a hardcore guy but I've dabbled in it, whatever I guess. I get kills in either mode just the same. Different strokes and I can understand that.

I agree with you to an extent. It is a lot more difficult to keep your crosshairs on the enemy for a longer duration to get say 4-5 shots on them as opposed to a single shot kill. In the end it is all about preference. I don't like the fact that someone camping in a spot can kill me over and over with 1 or 2 shots and never reveal his position. In my opinion, hardcore is very camping friendly, and very anti run and gun.

Which campaign chapter is your guys favorite? I really enjoy all of them but the "Friends in the sky" one (2nd one, I think) was really fun for me.

For me, hardcore is just more enjoyable. The "which mode takes more skill" debate would be never ending. I'd just much rather the person who gets the first/best shot off gets rewarded with the kill. Taking 2+ head shots to get kills in standard can be infuriating. And the bunny hops and Mc Twisty flips while you're shooting someone, only for them (someone else) to pop back out and kill you is frustrating.

The camping argument is legit though and its going to be interesting to see how HC plays out on BF1 maps as there are way more buildings and layers.

IMO it's really not about getting "easier" kills since you're going to get killed quicker as well. It's about more legit kills and less chance of bogus stuff happening as you're emptying sometimes entire clips into someone. Plus it makes me play more tactical, moving from cover to cover. Less run and gun.

The single player wasn't half-assed. You're allowed to dislike the game. But half-assed? Really? Are you sure you played the right game (kidding)

Not going to get into an argument, but 6 levels averaging around 30 minutes a piece with almost all of them more or less tutorial based. Not a lot of effort went into it. Cutscenes were good but have to look beneath the surface.
