I'm not done yet - but that is my clubhouse leader at the moment. I usually hate flying missions [because I am terrible at them] but this one was suprisingly engaging. Loved the story as well adn the stealth element. Plus flying over that mountain terrain was just beautiful.

...although the 3rd mission in Italy is a close second. My goodness - fighting in the Alps is breathtaking. Half the time I just wanted to stop fighting and look around.

I think that was done on purpose really. To introduce you to the multiplayer [lest be honest - the star of the show really] while adding some human context to the locations and scenarios you face in multiplayer. I think the intent was to have quality over quantity this go round. The single player for BF this geneeration has been pretty sub par - to me this has been their best [albeit very brief] effort.

Something has to be done about respawning so soon. So frustrating as a medic to run to revive someone and they respawn right before you get there.

After using support a bit more, the little ammo pouch is far better than the crate. You get your ammo and gadgets back almost immediately with the ammo pouch, but you have to sit there for a very long time with the crate. I'd rather toss multiple ammo pouches and get everyone their nades back then to just set and forget a crate that has a bunch of people sitting on it waiting to refill. It keeps everyone moving.

The ammo pouches are real noticeable when you're the cavalry unit. Toss your grenades at a tank, run around the corner and jump off your horse to refill. You get your tank grenades very quick to make another run at the tank. Rinse and repeat.

You just have to come to expect your average blueberry to be pretty unaware & unskilled or impatient to go with that.

Then when you do get those blueberries that know what's up and see you en route to them they wait for it to rejoin the glorious battle, you're pleasantly surprised.

            On a lighter note...

Happens to me with freaking tanks too. I am screaming to at least go cap a freaking flag or something.

I think I've concluded that the setting of this game is garbage and really makes me not enjoy it as much as any of the other recent Battlefields.

The playerbase also at least seems a lot dumber than recent Battlefields too.

Battlefield 1 just feels like a shallow game. It honestly just feels like Star Wars re skinned. Even some of the maps look like a copy and paste from stars wars. It was fun for a lil bit but just got boring really fast.

The setting? Do you mean the WW1 storyline?

                          Can you elaborate?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I just do not like the old weapons, i love the maps and graphics and gameplay but hate the old weapons and look of the characters...I have not played in 2 days and have no urge to fire it up
I have to agree. I personally like the weapons and time period, but this game just doesn't feel like it has the staying power of other BF games.

I couldn't wait to fire up BF3 and BF4 everyday. With this game I'll play 1-2 rounds and then not touch it for a few days.

I can't fault you for feeling that way. When I was playing the air mission campaign chapter there were points, at the beginning, where I felt like I was flying an X-Wing over Hoth in Battlefront

Seeing as how it shares the same new engine, similarities (visually) will definitely be there. Honestly I never played BF4 as deeply as guys like Rez and Bolt did so I can't really comment on how shallow this game is vs BF4. Those guys would know better than me.

I do know that I sucked at BF4, and I did pretty well in Hardline (and thus, I liked Hardline more) and I was told that it was probably because BF4 was "deeper" and Hardline was just "more simple." BF1 seems more in line with Hardline in that regard and for ME, just me personally, that is a good thing. The BF1 gameplay appeals to me but I can see how more hardcore BF fans would prefer the older style better.

I didn't play Hardline until everything had already been released for it. I don't know how that game looked at launch. Was it as easy to max out your class in Hardline and BF4 as it is in BF1? I feel like I have everything unlocked pretty quickly compared to those other two games. Am I wrong?
