I'm personally loving it. Looking forward to a patch to get some things smoothed out and I'll be in heaven.

The menus & horses are my two biggest gripes so far.

People always expecting more and more. Complain about slow menus, scores not showing up at end of game, bugs/glitches etc.

But setting? You knew where the game took place, there was videos and beta available so you knew what you were buying.

Game is a gem compared to other games that are out and that thrash called cod.

I partially agree with you and partially disagree. You are right about the fact that the game is a gem compared to COD. "TRASH" is probably one of the most appropriate terms to be used in this context. I love the game and pretty much play it on regular basis. In fact, I have been playing battlefield since BF2 and have liked every single one so far.

Having said that though, it's fair to complain about glitches, and bugs since gamers expect a refined and polished product by release time. You are right that the beta already told us what to expect. Typically when you play the beta you expect a better finished product, which it is. Although, I will stick to my statement earlier, and say that the weapon selection is extremely disappointing especially compared to BF4. Even hardline had a better weapon selection considering the fact that a lot of people called it a very incomplete game.

In the end complaining about something doesn't mean you don't purchase it or you don't like it. It simply means certain aspects of something aren't up to one's liking, and that's fair. We are human after all.

Not so fine with complaining about setting and copy/pasted maps from star wars huh? Maps are beautiful and well thought out.

I agree. Maps are amazing! Probably the best maps I have ever seen. The level of detail is just mind blowing.

I agree. Maps are amazing! Probably the best maps I have ever seen. The level of detail is just mind blowing.

The weather changing is just epic. And I love how it gradually changed from clear to cloudy and all out fog.

Couldn't agree more. The dynamic weather effects are just on another level. What is really interesting to me is that each map looks unique. No two maps are reiterations of each other. This I liked a lot.

I'm not sure if intentional or not, but the dynamic weather almost acts as like.. an ongoing active nerf to the sniper problem. Ok well, it's not so much a problem, it's just that many people thinks snipers are 'cool' and such, so you get a lot of people playing as them.

But when the fog rolls in, it forces their hand. All of a sudden everything is all closed in, long range capability becomes a non-factor. I personally love those situations, I always find myself playing way better when things are fast paced, close up, and intense.

They did but it wasnt as gradual it was just a quick switch from normal to dust.

For me it kind of has a steampunk, alternate reality type feel to it. I've played Vurdun which is a whole different ball game and they pulled off the feel of WWI quite well, a lot of gritty, trench warfare.

I do personally think they should of done WWII though, or Vietnam. The years between those two wars are probably the most interesting in terms of engineering, technology, etc..

I think they went with WW1 over WW2 because how the series already started with Battlefield 1942, though I agree that another WW2 game or a Vietnam game would be awesome.

i was hoping that they was would start adding a 3rd person option to all there games like Star Wars. Give ppl who don't like 1st person view a option and let them enjoy battlefield 1 in 3rd person mode gameplay like the tanks.

If this game had 3rd person I would never put it down. I doubt it will get patched in but I really do hope so. Star Wars in 3rd person made that game for me. So much fun.

Is there a list of guys that play this together? I'm on PS4, and I'm a good player, but I get sick of playing this game with randoms that don't listen or play the objective or give commands. I only play with one buddy, and we were looking to start playing with more people.
