It's probably more likely those weapons were just in the game during testing and had no intention of adding them to multiplayer. Most of the weapons are ported over from previous games and are exactly the same. The cod4 weapons were completely redone and reskined. Wouldn't make sense to not reskin those as well if they were really going to be added. Also, so far Raven has acknowledged the footsteps, smokes, and finch are different than the original and will be changed. So that makes it seem like they want to make it closer to the original. Because of that I don't see them adding weapons. I could see some more camos or something being added, but I doubt those weapons were for anything more than testing. At least I hope not

When the next CoD is released probaby AW2

: , or soon after, or a little bit before. So my guess is between August and December of next year, and it will be part of a MW trilogy remaster. They do not want MW competing with IW for sales. But since Sledgehammer is making the next CoD they could give 2 ***** if it competes with AW2. Thats my prediction, and I'm sticking to it.

I agree with you that they won't release it stand alone until mid or late next year and that they're going to remaster the other old Games too. But I think they're going to remaster World at War next seeing as how good Battlefield 1 is doing now.

It'll be sold before then. Sales numbers aren't great. They might constantly cut the price of the legacy edition for a while to make it the price of a typical game.

They care about AW. They won't cannibalize sales for any of their yearly releases. They might choose to release MWR as a mid cycle release to help their numbers as IW sales die off even more.

Or Sledgehammer takes the hint and scrapes this futuristic crap, and make the next CoD a WW2 game, or possibly even Vietnam, we haven't had a good 'Nam game in a while. I'd say Civil War, but ain't no one got time for muskets lol. I can ensure one thing though, it will not be a WW 1 game. Activision doesn't want to be seen as copying EA/ Dice.

Game has been in the works for years. Can't scrap it and put something together in a year. Best chance would be Treyarch in a few years unless Sledgehammer was planning on doing a different time period from the beginning

Absolutely hated World at War so I definitely wouldn't be picking that up but when they decide- remaster Modern Warfare 2 I'm all over that like beans on rice!

Got a PS4 Pro and a brand new tv to go along with it, and the only game I'm currently playing is one from 2007. Can't tell if that's good or bad

Yeah I hate old war games. Give me modern warfare any day. Except MW 3. I hated that one too. What a ****ing twitchfest that was. Although the single player and some of the maps were pretty cool
