Re: COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
Haven't read through the thread so apologize if this has been explained/answered:
Is this a package deal in which you have to buy the new CoD with it? Or can you get the remastered version as a standalone?

Re: COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
As of right now, you need to buy one of the special editions of Infinite Warfare, $80 is the cheapest one. There are no current plans to release it as a standalone.Last edited by CaliDude916; 09-19-2016, 07:44 PM.Comment

Re: COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
There has been chatter about it being released as a stand alone in December. Although at $60. For $80 you get both games, even if not into COD anymore, I'm sure Infinite Warfare is worth $20 to you.
The Digital Deluxe is still the best value at $100
Infinite Warfare - $60
COD 4 - $60
Season Pass - $50Comment

I also think you're being generous saying CoD 4 remaster is worth $60. It's a nine year old game.
I'm going to hold out that they will either sell this alone or an entire MW remastered trilogy. I have ZERO interest in the new game and I'm not buying into Activision's marketing scam.Last edited by Twigg4075; 09-20-2016, 09:30 AM.Comment

Re: COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
I don't buy digital anymore unless I have to. Last gen on PS3 it was definitely worth it because I could download one game for both my wife and I since she games too. Not anymore. Plus, I have a data cap. Much easier installing games from a disc than having to download 50+ GB.

You can still put games on two systems though, just make one primary and you log in on the other. But I also don't have a data cap at my house, go over 1TB routinely at this point LOLComment

Re: COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
This reminded me of yet another thing this game did better than any other and since - the ghille suits on pipeline were awesome. up on the grassy hill in prone, if you weren't REALLY looking, you wouldn't see them or if they moved (myself included on occasion) made for really cool strategy and just pretty cool overall you could hide in plain sight like that if you timed it right and were smart about shooting.
Actually that map was awesome overall with the different buildings and underground passages and rooftops it was always one I looked forward to.
I have not been excited for a COD game in years. It is funny I'm this excited for a retread, but not having to relearn maps and loadouts is actually appealing.Comment

Re: COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
They are charging 50 for Transfomers War of Cybertron on PS4/XB1 6 years later which isn't even remastered.
It'll be $60

COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
They'll target a $60 price point but they'll do it by including another game or a collection like they did with Prototype.
They released Fall of Cybertron which is only four years old.
Either way, supporting a $60 price for COD 4 remaster alone would be a mistake.Last edited by sbauer318; 09-20-2016, 03:17 PM.Comment

Re: COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
Activision hasn't released a single remaster on disc to date as far as I know. I wouldn't hold your breath for it unfortunately.

Deadpool was disc.
Transformers, prototypes, and marvels were digital only.Comment

Re: COD 4: Modern Warfare - Remastered
Although value proposition is relative.
But paying $80 if you just want to play the remaster is just terrible.Last edited by Twigg4075; 09-21-2016, 10:28 AM.Comment

I don't disagree. Never said it's worth $60, just what I expect them to sell it at.Comment
