Early reviews are looking promising. 86% on metacritic at the moment. Reviews I have read say the game ranges from 10-15 hours to answer previous post. Definitely considering picking it up now.

PSVR version looks awesome! I'm debating if I should cancel my PS4 preorder and wait to play on my Oculus next year.

I don't do scary, but will be hard not to pick this up as a Play Anywhere title once VR releases on PC next year.

I pre-ordered this last week, and I'm looking forward to playing it soon. Other than the trailer released at E3, I haven't looked at any info on it so everything will be a surprise. I've read it's pretty damn good!

I'm at around 6 hours game time but real time thus far is around 8 hours. Good game and feels like RE in a lot of ways but doesn't in others.

Played through a bit yesterday. Game is certainly odd, and to start really doesn't have a Resident Evil feel to me outside of having items make a reappearance. Again I'm not very far, it's a pretty good game. Didn't care much for an early encounter but will be trying out VR capabilities after work/school tonight.

Super fun so far, I'm on to the second (or maybe third, depending on how people look at it) boss fight. Low on ammo though so I'm putting it off because I know I'm screwed. Probably 3-4ish hours into the game at this point.

This game is really a Resident Evil *** Resident Evil game. A return to form for them at this point, not sure what twists they are going to throw at me yet but it's been very enjoyable.

Minor thoughts (with the minorest of minor spoilers that's not even a spoiler but I'll be safe) below.

The prologue doesn't feel as much like Resident Evil, but once you get the first piece and open the door to the main house you are in Resident Evil land 100%

Currently about 1/3rd through the game. RE 7 is definitely a step in the right direction for the franchise and blows away RE 5 and RE 6. More positives than negatives thus far for me and enjoying it.

I never played previous RE games, got this because I have PSVR it is great!
That being said I dont know what long time fans of the series would think, seems as though previous versions were nerdy with alot of zombies, and while there are some of those aspects, overall this feels like a good horror film.
