Welp. That’ll do it. 100% on the game and 3 DLC chapters. All suits. Everything. There’s nothing left for me on this earth now lol.

I had played this game up to almost 20% and took a break for other games since it didn’t really grab me. Now playing again and having fun. Almost 40% done.

I do think they should have called this game Spiderman the Pokémon edition. Half the game is collectables. Roughly 45 backpacks, 30 landmarks, research stations, black cat pics and pigeons to collect. Who knows what else they will add. Then you combine some of the “mini games” like puzzle matching or circuits and the game feels really old school in terms of fetch/busy quests that seem added solely for extra game time and no real purpose. As a gamer I can ignore some of the stuff but it does force you to do some things to get new suits or upgrade gadgets.

The highlights of the game are the Fisk hideouts for me. Random crimes are fun too. Some of the story missions with combat are really good too although I still feel the combat is too much button mashing and too gadget/suit power heavy.

While it’s a fun game I still feel the overall grade of the game depends heavily on your love of Spiderman. There isn’t anything overly special about the game so far for me. I’d still give it an 8/10 but nowhere near GOTY material imo.

Edit: Can't forget about unlocking the surveillance towers at the beginning and now all the challenge token things (although I like the combat ones which are fun - screw the rest).

Replaying right now, and this game does a fantastic job of showing just how genuinely good of a person Peter is.

Like, you've got street crimes all over the place, an impending disaster (that Pete doesn't know about technically), and you're still taking time out of your day to help a friend collect his pigeons.

So after I considered myself done last night, I noticed I had 98% of the trophies. Found the hidden one and got to 100%.

Over 10 years of gaming on PS3 and now PS4. So many games played. So many I beat. So many I beat and did all the side quests, but I can tell you this is my first platinum lol. I just usually don’t bother grinding for those.

This isn't really a spoiler, but rather a "need to know" item here:

So apparently if you complete all of the crimes within a district, you won't get crimes again until you defeat the game? That feels really, really flawed to me. That also means if I want to keep fighting random crime down the line that I should be ignoring crime for the meanwhile.

My purpose of a game is to defeat it, and after it's over I'm a little less inclined to want to play it (even if to fight crime) unless there are other bonuses to be had for 100%. This just feels all sorts of wrong.

I found one more the other day when playing one of the screwball challenges I had not done yet on dlc 3 now I am at 49/50. I need that last photo where ever it is and I need like 20% more on dlc 2 and to do a new game + play threw than I will have done ever thing you can do on this game.

I only have platinum like 4 games told between ps3 and ps4 this is one but a big reason for that is that this is a much easier game to platinum than most games. Most games have some trophies that are like just about impossible to get or that you have to play online to get and I never play online. The trophies in this game are pretty easy.

If you've already purchased it, you go into the game menu (where you can change suits and look at the map and all that) and tab over to DLC.

i did all that but can't access it. When i click on each mission, nothing happens.

it reads "available now" on all 3 missions also reads "purchased" & "installed" but still nothing...

Then you have to beat the main story, because the DLC is all stuff that takes place after the story.

I just 100% last night after reading this thread. Only thing I was missing was spectacular on one of the screwball challenges, and it ended up being pretty easy.


I still haven't read over half the newspapers.

And just like that I got the Platinum about 3 minutes ago. Might be the 3rd or 4th game I've platinumed, and all of them have been superhero games.

I have a type, I guess lol.

this game is better than what i expected, being a comic game.
