So I put 74 hours into this game last year and still have a few things left to do. I figured I was like around 65 or so. I did a first play threw that I thought was like 20 hours with out doing side missions. Did a second play threw that I would say was like 40 hours or so doing all missions. So that I figured got me to 60 hours. Did all the dlc figured that was around 8 hours total to get to 68. I guess my numbers where a little bit low. I still have a few news papers I need to get and 1 of the secret photos and at some point a new game + play threw and dlc 2 I have not 100% yet at like 83%.

So new update just came out it added 2 new suits I think this is the fantastic four dlc it added Bombastic Bag man suit and future foundation suit. I think with these there are now 40 suits.

Absolutely Amazing! I finally beat the third DLC couple days ago so now I'm a hundred percent complete with the game.

if it wasn't for God of war this game would be my game of the year. Absolutely loved it. It was fun and engaging and I really enjoyed most of the side stuff. Insomniac did an excellent job and I can't wait for part 2.

The only thing that really annoying me about the game playing this game was with somebody bring up in here early on when the game first came out. They're just too many rocket launchers and lasers when you're facing a horde of enemies. And maybe that was their only way of making the fighting somewhat difficult so I get it to a point but, when you're facing the sable guys especially in the third DLC it's just downright ridiculous and this is on the amazing level. It got to the point that I thought the game had jump to the highest level on its own. after every third or fourth punch in the combo you must Dodge a laser or rocket coming at you on top of the regular guys punching you or a Brute, or the guys with the shield that fly around. It just doesn't make any sense.

Otherwise though the game would be perfect to me for the most part.

I really enjoyed all of the DLC. But I have to admit that I think the black cat DLC "The Hiest" is the best one. The relationship between those 2 just really resonates more I think. Part 2 Turf Wars is good as well. Silver Lining for some reason just seems so much more shorter then the others. who are the first two took basically four hours to complete the story and some side stuff the third one just seemed to go by just like that. And as I explained earlier the side mission stuff with the sable Warehouse is and a screwball challenges in silver lining was just so hard I had to lower the level to complete them.

In the end, the game gets a 9 out of 10 for me.

Only things I didn't complete was the 50 photos, and getting Spectacular on all Screwball challenges (I got either 1 or 2 checks).

Anybody else get this email for getting the platinum on the game?

Just saw an animation I think for the first time.

I swung towards one of those vertical signs on the side of of a building, and I grabbed onto the bottom of the sign with both hands and swung off.

Finally got 100% on all 3 dlc's and found all secret photos and all news papers have played like 78 hours of this game. I still need to do a new game + play threw. The 78 hours was to do 100% on all 3 dlcs and to do all side missions plus my first play threw I did like zero side missions have beaten the game twice on my second play threw I did the side stuff. Just got all the trophies last night to out side of the new game plus and beaten the game on the hardest difficulty.

I'm late to the party and just now started this up it wasn't for lack of desire as I had been wanting to play it for a long time. Me and my cousin split the cost of the game so by the time he finished it their was only a week before RDR came out. Since I didn't want to rush it or delay RDR I just waited till I was done with RDR as I only play 1 non sports game at time. It also gave me something to look forward to as I knew how great RDR was going to be.

I'm not a super hero / marvel fan however I enjoyed the batman games so I knew if it was done right I would like the game. The delay gave me time to read the prequel book and watch some of the movies. I have also enjoyed every sony exclusive that I've played as well as resistance so it was a safe bet this would be a good one.

The batman like combat system is simple enough to pick up on right away. The swinging around didn't take that long to get use to and its fun just swinging around from place to place and I'm only a few hours in. I love the web shot as that's been my go to move.

I hate puzzles in games so I always just look them up and get pass them so I was afraid when I heard they would be in. So far I actually enjoy them because they are easy to figure out and don't require me to think to hard lol. The way the backpacks and taking photos are done is also fun and they aren't so many of them they become a chore or I lose interest.

Its definitely lived up to the hype so far and Sony has it a homerun for years to come when they can get the casual guy like me hooked. I can't wait to finish it up and I'm gonna try and get the 100% trophy which is rare for me.

I think I noticed in this game that you can skip puzzles or something. I haven't tried that, but is that true? If so, that's kind of nice. Maybe you don't get those certain bonuses/rewards or whatever else, but it doesn't stop certain people from playing the game because they don't get how to complete certain things.

Yes you can I did it once but accident pushed the wrong button and I was like darn it. I still need to do a new game + play threw and at some point do the dlc a second time for the heck of it to. When I first played the first dlc it was really buggy dlc heard it got fixed.

Spider-Man (PS4 Exclusive)

I saw in one section you could skip them I haven’t seen them in everything. Thankful I haven’t needed them so far. Every game needs the ability to skip puzzles it hurts nobody when you have the option. If you want to use it then you move on with this story and if you don’t or doesn’t matter.

I have a job that’s stressful and requires me to make tough decisions all day. So when I come home to relax I don’t want to spend it spending 30 minutes on how to turn something on a puzzle.

I’m very glad I haven’t had to pull up YouTube for any of the puzzles or where to grab the collectibles

I finally finished this over the weekend after my late start and loved it. I wasn't a marvel / Spiderman fan before I played this and now I am so that's about the biggest compliment I can give it. While not a perfect game for the first game they knocked it out of the park so i'm crossing my fingers its a launch title for ps5 or close to it. I couldn't name a single spiderman villain before I played the game so that and the suits didn't mean much to me.

What I liked
+ Simple combat that was also fun
+ Swinging around the city
+ Collectibles / Landmarks were easy and not a ton of them
+ Perfect length for a game
+ Trophies being easy to get
+ Gadgets / Throwing objects
+ Puzzles didn't require me to think
+ All the side stuff (minus the challenges)
+ Good story and characters (tough being the game I play after RDR as I loved that story)

What I didn't like
- Timed challenges
- Screwball character was annoying but her challenges were better then the main game
- Crimes got old especially the ones at the end
- I was able to get max level of XP before I finished the game so that hurt the replay value a bit for me.
- Felt like the suits and perks with them didn't really matter
- Too many bad guys and boss fights nothing special

I read the prequel book which is all about fisk and then I watch the first season of daredevil on Netflix. I really like him as a bad guy so I'm very excited about that. The prison break fight happens and I keep on waiting for him to be shown again. All of that research I did learning about him and then he is gone 5 minutes into the game lol

It was a really fun game, but I also felt they rushed through their villains roster too quickly.

I gave my friend at work a USB flash drive so he could copy all his save files onto it and also let me borrow the game. I then used Save Wizard (PS4 cheat device) to "resign" a manual save he had from October in which the only thing not completed are some skills and some thug crimes. Will purchase the three DLC packs next week and start playing them while waiting for Days Gone. Just messing around a few minutes ago and damn, does the swinging feel so damn good.

I lost interest in finishing this game, and haven't really played it in over a month. The crimes and number of bad guys you fight as you make your way through the third act were starting to dampen my experience, as I was growing frustrated with the repetitive feel the game had taken on.

Maybe now with some distance behind me, I can go back and finish the game. Halfway through, I was thinking Spider-Man would be an all-time classic. It may be for a lot of people, but not for me. It's still a very good game, but again for me, missing a few elements to call it a classic.
