    Bioshock: The Collection

So excited. Favorite series ever, and the first one is a top 5 game of all time for me.

I wonder what updates Inifinite will have if any. It was already a beautiful game, and I assume they couldn't change what was bad about it (repetitive battles).

      Yes!

Infinite may be my favorite game of all time. I bought 1 and 2 on sale, but never played them before selling my PS3; I always regretted that. So stoked for this.

Super excited for this. Played Infinite on PC and none of the others, when I tried to play Bioshock 1 the sound wouldn't work and then all kinds of other issues. Tried on PS3 but it looked so bad I just stopped playing. Hopefully I can get through it now.

I enjoyed the games but I am over remasters. Are we going to do this every generation of consoles?

Original Bioshock and Infinite are two of the best FPS story campaigns ever IMO. Amazing games.

            Will play again

Not sure if I played 2, and didn't play Infinite....

              1 was an amazing experience.

Kinda agree on some of remasters, but I can just choose what to buy or what not to buy, so doesn't make me that mad.

                Re: Bioshock: The Collection

They are getting smart. Instead of backwards compatibility lets repackage and remaster to make more money.

Kinda like the CD scam of remastered CDs lol!!! Although some are legit improvements most were BS.

The only remasters I have bought are:

                Nathan Drake
                Valkyrie Chronicles

I do plan on Skyrim and that's it.

Bioshock is the only one I have played. I have the other 2 on PS3. Infinite was free on PS plus and 2 I picked up for 10 bucks but never got around to it yet.

May have to revisit the series eventually.

                Loved the original. Outstanding game!

                  Re: Bioshock: The Collection

I think the main problem is there seems to be two flavors of remasters.

A.) actual remasters, like TLOU and Gears of War, where it's the best way possible to experience the game, and makes the game well worth playing for veterans and newcomers alike

B.) lazy cash grabs, like, well, too many list, where its literally the same game, untouched, just now they can say say "it's 1080p!" You're basically getting a full priced backwards compatibility "patch"

I also understand what Kweb is saying as far as "ok, but where does it stop?" Are we gonna get a Gears of War Remastered Remaster on Scorpio? Fair concern.

I like a good remaster but I hate that some charge full price or close to full price. I don't think I should pay more than 30 bucks for a game that's already been released before, but that's just me and I'm kind of an idiot, so who knows.

Needless to say I will definitrly buy this collection.

                        Re: Bioshock: The Collection

This is the one series I wanted remastered, so I'm happy.

Sports games always impede my non-sports progress. I've barely played some amazing games - Witcher 3, Arkham Knight, TLOU, etc., because The Show or Madden always seems to steal back my gaming time.

When Infinite first came out, all that changed. I played it every night until I finished it. A few weeks ago, I was thinking about that and how I really missed that game. So I'm glad to have it back. And I'm really looking forward to playing the first two.

You guys are in for a treat.

The original Bioshock is a game I would pay a full 60 bucks for to play again remastered. Such a marvelous single player experience.

They all fantastic, I just hold the first one, and the last one (Infinite) in extremely high regards.

                          Can't wait!

If you have Bioshock 1 or 2 on PC you'll get the upgrade for free, which is nice. Games are dirt cheap on the Steam sale right now too, so if you don't own them I'd pick them up. No remaster of Infinite since there really isn't anything to remaster on PC.

It's on the top seller list now. Wasn't on there before.
